I use to walk out my front door every single day and see those smoke stacks...its so weird now that they aren't there. That's what this town was known for. sad day.

Not sure I would have wanted to be anywhere near those smokes stacks when they came down. To breath what was released doesnt seem to comforting.

@DeoxysDNA Not really. He was on a ridge on the other side of the highway, and the stacks were way off, on BHP property, a good 5 or 10 minute drive from where everyone was watching. They wouldn't let us get closer because of the dust.
