i found this song my junior year of college and love looking back after every year of math classes and realize i understand more and more of it each time, and now that I'm in grad school and get all of it I can take it not only as a great song but a list of learned skills.

They are using math notions in a very accurate way to describe hist feelings, this is a beautiful and gentle song. The person who wrote this really knows very different areas in math and applies them to the situation of love in a nontrivial way.
