How many egg whites did you use?

Don't do it with syrup. Trust me! I tried it, and it's not that good. Stick with the original recipe.

Oh my syrup instead of honey, like pancake syrup? I wouldn't recommend but you can try. You can also substitute Agave nectar which I guess is a syrup. Agave I think would be ok but don't use too much. Thanks for watching.

Yes sour cream or Crème fraiche and I'd just use 2 tablespoons.
