I know that "Safety First" is the mantra that must be at the for front for all our troops and I am sure that some guy in a lab is going to come up with lighter, safer, and efficient modes of transport. As for mobile bases and alliterative energy solar augmented with wind in hot arid regions works quit well. I found that temperatures above 35 C. the efficiency falls off dramatically. Thus, the wind augmented the solar array very well. I just wish we could do more to support our Marines!
