The real video for this song is so powerful. Though what happened on 911 was most horrific and devastating to the US it has been given many many songs to remember that day. This one I feel should be left for the event it was created for. The day Oklahoma was attacked by an American. It's message is true for our lives and our country, that no matter what happens to us we must NOT let fear and hatred rule our lives and change who we are. Stay strong America and keep hope.

people used to ask me why i always try so hard to help people who i have never met before in my life. to all those people who always told me that i couldnt save the world here is the answer i couldn't give then. I dont try to save the world i do what i do so that people will know that i will never give up on life. i was watching the recording my mom had made of 9/11 and was crying so hard that i couldnt breath. i refuse to be one of the people who let others be hurt.
i was in the 5th grade when this happened i remember my teacher turning on the tv and the first plane already hit and my whole class all saw the second plane hit i cried even though i didnt really understand what was happening i kneq people were dying and it made me sad may all that died rest in peace.
september 11th was a very hard time for all. im a volunteer firefighter in NYS and i give my heart to all those who risked their lives and died that day. and also to all of those family members that had to suffer the hard times and loss. My heart goes out to everybody. That day forever is embedded in our minds and all we can do is wish for the best and help others.

For those people out there that laugh at what happened,may God strike you down.Innocent people were lost that day and still deal with losing survivors because of health issues.For those that have the idea that you can make America suffer..Ive got news for you.Things like what happened this day brings American closer and makes us stronger.GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN.If you think you can do this to America and get away with it HA.WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND BLOW YOU AWAY

I came to this song because I could not sleep knowing the date today was 9/11. I could not watch the video in it entirety because of how the events of 9/11 affect me still today, so I decided to read the comments. All I have to say to every negative post is that you are one big mother fucking cunt bag bitch ass whore of a being (you dont even deserve to be called human.) Beautiful song. I first heard it when Garth Brooks released it as a tribute to the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing, he being an OK native. It's just such a shame it had to resurface under these circumstances.
