The way I use this foundation is with the sponge in the compact. I dampen it with water, then apply it. It sheers it out wonderfully for me. I have dry skin, btw. I have to use very little of this foundation and I love that about it.
I bought the Graftobian powder foundation, that's supposed to be a clone of Studio Fix- now, I have never tried the MAC, but the Graftobian oxidizes like no tomorrow!!! Boy, I should have gotten a lighter shade!!! Still and all, the only powder "foundation" that I have found that actually can really work for me is Laura Geller's- which is bloody expensive, waaahh!
@mommafletch I have been meaning for awhile to try Graftobian so I'm glad you left this message! I'm super curious now about Laura Geller's, lol! I'm definitely going to research it :)
i really like this product, i have combo skin, But as you said its pricey. I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative
