Saw this on first release at the theatre in 1968 when I was 16.I remember practically memorizing the dialogue. I was really taken by the language and the romance.

This is my favorite scene from this version of Romeo and Juliet. It is so cute. Yes I am one of those girls who is just smitten over Romeo and yes Zac Efron does kinda look like him. Leonard Whiting is soooooo much better looking though. Although his eyes don't sparkle like Zac's do. I can live without that. The Juliet is so cute too. I would love to have looked like Olivia Hussey. I am greatfull though for the way I do look. I'll go now.
