i played original dota, but havent played in a while, so i just need somewhere to find builds for heroes and few tips on using stuff such as courier,etc

I got my invite. I filled out the Steam Survey and it appeared in my library. Didn't have to go into m inventory.

Hey Mulkyz, do you think you can make a guide on how to get a grip of Dota if you come from LoL? I have a hard time understanding the pace and strategy of Dota 2, HoN, etc.

@Oblivion4700 Hmm not sure about that man, I actually haven't played a whole lot of LoL myself. This first video was supposed to be the general introduction to the series, sorry man. Really it's just practice, there's not much you can do other than that other than choosing the simpler heroes :p

@sadhusno1fan @sadhusno1fan Dota 2 is currently in closed beta, you can sign up for a key on the official website by going to the international page. Once you fill that out you should get an email where you can fill out a survey which will give you a chance to get a beta key as well as 2 extra passes for your mates.

You can also enter Playdota's contest, who hand out 80 keys a day by posting a comment on the specified thread on their website.

All commentators should be like you. You know how to balance being serious and joking. I learned so much fro this video. I play Lol, and all my friends are like" Check out Dota2". It seems that i need to go to Dota2..but In Soviet Russia, Dota2 comes to YOU!!

@MulkyzGaming I'm new too dota, i mean super new. Like i didnt even know what was dota before dota 2 was anounced. It looks kinda cool. There are tons of heroes. i dont know which one i would pick. I love the engineer in TF2. Is the tinker like the engineer?

@keggie09 Great to hear that new people are interested in Dota 2 :). Tinker isn't particularly like the engineer since the engi in tf2 is a defensive sentry user, while tinker is an aggressive ganker in dota. If you're new, and you want to play something with a similar style to the engineer, i would suggest a hero like Venomancer, since he can summon turrets to help push/block, and is also relatively supportive.
