Yeah I thought they were well thought out and successful, but the first one serves as the cult movie in my opinion, second one is a bit stretchy (especially the Sarkar Rani theme at the end with Rai!!)

sarkar raj is a great movie, best movie so far this year. It's as good as Jodha Akbar. Amitabh was awesome, aishwarya was superb, as usual, and abhishek did a good job too.

I would go ahead and say it is better than Godfather 2. I know people are going to call me an idiot for saying that. However, I did not see much unrealistic stuff in this movie. Its a hard hitting drama.

Many of my insecure desi friends have double standard in accepting unrealistic things in Hollywood and Bollywood movies. GF-2 has lot of unrealistic stuff, although it is much better directed than Sarkar Raj.

Sarkar Raj is nowhere close to being better than Godfather II, it isn't even better than Sarkar.

Sarkar Raj was ruined the moment they created the Aishwariya Rai character and gave her such a big role.
