18u showcase at 15! and im a pitcher! and my dream as a kid was to play in the olympics. i really hope they will bring softball back into the olympics, i want to fulfill my dream!
Coming from a Starting Varsity Baseball player at my High School. I have much respect for you ladies. Every year my schools varsity Baseball & Softball teams play an exhibition against each other and of course the girls didnt really stand a chance against our 90 + throwing pitcher. But i will tell you the Softball pitcher struck out half of our team and our Baseball team is ranked 16 in the state. Much respect to all Softball players, you guys are truly something.
@wtfc12 Softball is an international sport, therefore the best moments and plays should incorporate the best plays in the world regardless of the country. I Love this video, but i think the way people think and believe that USA is the best team in the world and that no one compares to them, is one of the contributing factors to the sport being kicked out of the Olympics
@TrueSoftballer99 You are right. I never meant for this video to be biased towards America though. It was just a little hard to find more clips of the teams from Japan, Australia, China, Canada etc. Most of the clips I found were of the USA team. I guess the title can be a little misleading, but my point in making this video was not to show how great America was or is at softball, my point was to show people a few amazing plays and reasons softball should remain in the olympics :)
@Evilbutrfly5 Thanks for acknowledging it! I admire America and the sport they have produced, the effort you have gone to, to make this, and the fact that most clips on Youtube are Of USA so thankyou.
Amazing softball video i've ever seen. im in 9th gradde and i've been playing ever since i was old enough! I hope one day to see myself be on the USA team! thats my dream and i hop for it to come true!
@azztsports93 I agree with you completely! I miss seeing it in the olympics and watching my coach Crystal Bustos playing third... Making it to the olympics for softball was always a dream of mine and then they took it out after the 2008 olympics. Then they took a vote on whether or not they should bring it back and they voted no :(
