  • this shit was the shiznik, it was underrated...reminded me of airwolf but on a bike

  • I loved this show as a kid. This show and the Dukes of Hazard, The A-Team, and the Six Million Dollar man; fuckn classics!

  • Poor man's version of Knight Rider.

  • que buena serie!! cuando era chiquito la veia. cuando terminaba de verla agarraba mi bicicletita y andaba silbando la cancion

  • there should be a remake of this show

  • OMG... It was the year 1988 or 1989.. I was 4 years old and I would watch Rex Smith ride the bike.. I would wake up early in the morning every Sunday to watch him on the Indian National TV.. Wishing I could ride HIM! No kidding!

  • GEORGE CLOONEY WAS ON THIS SHOW

  • Oh my god this intro is total cheese it's so utterly 80's tastic! ...to riiiiiiide streethawk hahaha. I liked the way he used to corner the bike at 300 miles an hour, thats some tyres he had there :P

  • schnunzel...

  • i miss being a kid ..Why Grow Up....!

  • The man...the machine...STREET HAWK!

  • 300 MPH!! Holy what..... That's some bike. ;-)

  • Back when tv shows had cool intro's.Now they last for about twenty seconds.

  • Watched this in India when I was growning up. Now, I'm in British Columbia, Canada... and I still love it more than ever!!! This beats the shit out of Knight Rider!!!

  • @Coffeestate Me too!

  • The American Kamen Rider.

  • I'm a bit worried about the voice over artist at the end of the credits... he seems to be enjoying the script too much... in a creepy way. The maaan... the machine... Street Huuark! Does he have some kind of weird fetish? ;)

  • I remember this show being in the same time slot as the original run of V. I never got to watch it because of that.

  • AWESOME SOUNDTRACK!!!

  • I used to watch this show as a kid in Nepal!

  • T.V. shows these days just lack a catchy theme song. Back then t.v. shows took pride on having a catchy theme song. Loved this show and majority of other shows of the time. Agree?

  • i had a toy of street hawk...........it was amazing.

  • Whenever i watch this video it gives me a hair raising experience. Its nostalgic.....

  • When I was a child, watched many chapter from this TV show, excelent, amazing and unforgetable.

  • I use to love watching streethawk great show bring it back

  • When I was 10 years old this was like the greatest thing ever.

    "... to riiiide Streethaaaawk". Brilliant.

  • rindu wooo

  • I remember being a kid, taking my bicycle and believing I was riding that motorcyle and actually humming that song. I watched this show back in my country, pretty awesome

  • 300 MPH !! Woooooooohhh fuck !!

  • @grouggy his bike was an old honda c90

  • One of my favourite shows when I was a kid, I fucking LOVED this!

  • i agree with dotdotdash, this would make a killer remake..

  • Brings back fond memories as a kid!

  • Tangerine Dream epic music, their whole soundtrack to Risky Business was amazing too!

  • 1 of the best series of the 80 s always cool to see street hawk and jessie mac :P

  • No fair! I'm gonna be street hawk this time!

    Dookie face! I'm telling!

It was fun being a little snot nose kid!!

  • My Childhood No 1, Favorite TV Show. Never missed an episode.

  • It'd be something else to see if there could have been a team up with Street Hawk, Airwolf, Knightrider, and the A-Team....or would that be overkill and unwatchable?

  • How cool was this? I had a Street Hawk outfir for BMX bike as a kid, Fooking love it, Along with Airwolf, Knightrider & the A-Team when tv programmes were fucking schweet!

  • Happy Birthday Paulie

  • "to riiiiiiide street hawwwwwk"

  • Kenns de dei nik??

  • I hate cars . Some countries a necessary evil . In time though they will get more fuel efficient and in real developed countries (not by rep and on paper) will get cleaner .Motorbikes , are fine for competition and fighting crime as in street hawk . My favorite transport is helicopters and planes

  • God, blast from the past. I can remember being a kid and dreaming of seeing a show with KITT, Airwolf and Street Hawk in the same episode!

  • Comment removed

  • Very underated never heard of it . Bike version of nite tider

  • When I was a kid I used to pretend my dirt bike was street Hawk and go around solving problems that didn't exist oh the imagination ammo the 80's used to give sigh ....

  • @tai7118 Its funny that you say that about imagining your dirt bike as streethawk. I did a similar thing with my BMX. I sprayed it black, bought some small fireworks and set them up on the front of the bike, stuck a couple of ice lolly sticks between the spokes of the bike to get a great sound when I pedalled. Used to go around pulling wheelies and firing off a couple of missiles ie my fireworks. How simple life was then

  • Wow, Tangerine Dream. There can't be many earlier uses of the TR-707 than this? Some nice SDSV drums too.

  • Thumbs up if you think 80's shows had the best stories, acting, atmosphere, imagery and music!!!

  • Go Prophet 5 Gooooooooo

  • I like how after the theme song, the voiceover guy starts breaking it down for you in case you've never seen the show before.

Take notes, thousands of modern-day network running people... talking to you... this was the era of hit show after hit show. Guy (plus other dudes, and a chick somewhere doing something while being hot while not acting like she knows she's hot) plus awesome show trademark gadget-loaded vehicle. Sit back and enjoy your success.

  • Most amazing show intro of all time. This should have changed the face of television.

How does TV go from this to Dancing with the Stars?

  • @Rikkisteve Rikkistevewhat happened is what always happens in hollywood, the producers of that time either made so much money that they retired or left the business for whatever reasons or unfortunately passed away so whats left are the younguns who come in to take over, they want the money as quiick as possible and they dont want to spend the kindof money to produce these typs of shows. We;ve degenerated to such a point that people are tuning in to watch a woman eat herself to death.

  • @Rikkisteve still some good stuff , coach .we had x files , unit , scrups west wing , agency , alias , desperate housechicks and ally mcbeal , nypd blue , law and order since this

  • @Rikkisteve I hear ya. I think the worst part of todays television are the so called " reality shows ". Nothing more pathetic than them.

  • @Rikkisteve

lol... I was gonna say skating with the stars!

  • @Rikkisteve I know what you mean I cant stand those fake reality shows.

  • @Rikkisteve I ask myself the same question

  • @Rikkisteve mate ive been asking myself the same question over and over and with crapfest of xfactor and big bro etc

  • fuck yeah!

  • LOVED THE SHOW!

  • I saw this in Mexico. Motorcycle version of Knightrider.

  • Fucking Awesome!!!!!!

  • the dude sounds like transformer narrator...

  • Streethawk was just a knight rider wanna be

  • Oh my gosh Rex Smith!!! *sighs* I LOVED STREETHAWK!

  • Comment removed

  • MAN, MACHINE, STREET HAWK

  • Freaking awsm show :)

  • I loved this show. Dude took corners like a Tron lightcycle. I was hooked on this show.

  • AirWolf...

  • lol @ 1.07 redneck accent!

  • If I had the money I would do a kick ass remake of this show with a Suzuki Hayabusa. I'd keep it real though for the times, no lasers or any of that shit, just machine guns, grenade launchers, oil slicks, some small guided missles, kinda James Bond but not over the top. But a Hayabusa with some turbo probably could do 300mph. Hell maybe even through in a ripoff of KITTs CPU. This show deserves a remake, it never got the chance it deserved back then.

  • @dotdotdash2 I have a busa (Hayabusa) and would of loved it if streethawk was a busa..

  • @dotdotdash2 Machine guns, grenadw launchers, oil slicks, and guided missles. Not over the top at all.

  • @brellnob Lasers, you forgot lasers. No cool 80's superbike is complete without lasers! lol The 80's were the best IMHO.

  • @dotdotdash2 AMEN dotdotdash2 I aggree just because you have the rights/permission to update something whether it is a book, or TV show etc etc remember what the original owner wanted.

  • this show was as smooth as my balls

  • Rex Smith was so hot

  • Cool note: The guy narrating this is Ernie Anderson, Father of Paul Thomas Anderson

  • fucking awesome!!

  • why do cops injured in the line of duty end up with special bike''s or a car like kitt its not far

  • He is the Stig!!

  • I f i remember correctly the main credits theme is by Shadowfax!

  • @CesariusX Tangerine Dream

  • i cant describe how much i was in love with it ..

  • Gronkh!

    XD

  • Gronkh send me here :)

  • PAL-speedup really affects Ernie Anderson's voiceover narration, making it even more comical.

  • Bike looks like Suzuki Katana

  • @IGGYSB No I think its a Moped you dumb fuck

  • So was this basically knightrider but with a bike?

  • Should make this into a movie. Maybe have this, Knight Rider, Thunder in Paradise and Airwolf in one movie??

  • @marshallblackstarr is thunder in paradise blue thunder?

  • @dottdepp31 2 different shows

  • @dottdepp31 2 different shows

  • Anyone remember a show like this, but where the bike was more futuristic and streamlined and had lasers? the voiceover began "It is the year 2020..." I can't remember the name of it but I know I saw it around 1990!

  • @razoraz Superforce

  • @sidewaysdanny @luvaboy772 Thanks, that's it! Unfortunately it's almost non-existant on youtube - the intro I remember isn't even there. Looks like it was never released on DVD or even VHS except for the pilot.

  • @razoraz Super Force with Ken Olandt, I remember that show.

  • @razoraz was it automan?

  • the 1980's the era of catchy theme music

  • What a show, fantastic!

Got the DVD box set for my birthday a few months ago!

"Capable of incredible speeds of up to 300 miles per hour" just cracks me up every time! Great stuff.

  • Does anyone remember the name of the show, where there was this black dude dressed in a some sort of robot costume?? and the genre was maybe sci-fi-action... I was really small, but I remember watching it. :)

  • @katinijasn : ...can't BELIEVE peeps have left u hangin' on this one, dude!

I gots one of two answers for ya...

...if it's a SHOW, then ur probably thinking M.A.N.T.I.S. starring Carl Lumbly (a most unfortunate surname for a fine man and actor -- his recent turn in Chuck as Casey's rogue sensei was BOSS!!!), and I luv'd that show too!

...but if it's a straight-to-DVD-bargain-bin MOVIE, then ur probably recalling Shaq O'Neal's "Steel", in which case I feel ur pain -- :'-( !!!

  • @f00768500 It's a show, and it was awesome! Thanks for the reply.. ;) How I miss my childhood.

  • @katinijasn Ur most welcome, guy! Glad to help!

  • When Ghostrider was law abiding....

  • george clooney was in one of the episode who plays his mate

  • I know the land speed record for a bike is 370mph or something like that, but 300 mph on a bike in the city... that's suicide LOL

    The 80's were awesome.

  • @deovision Yeah but the 'super computer' back at base worked out the route and 'drove' the bike when it was in super f*ck off turbo mode!

  • Comment removed

  • Hmmm this or Airwolf for the greatest intro......tough call....

  • Anyone remember the episode when he did a backflip just before a cliff by hitting the turbos and air brakes at the same time?

  • @HachiZenki

    Oh yea .. Definitely.

Then him and his buddy spent time in front of the screen analysing with the expression on their faces saying: 'Hey did we planned this? I dont think we did' :P

    Ahh..The memories..

  • @HachiZenki Sure do. I thought it was as cool as cool can be.

  • 80's Best Time ever !! Memories ,....... !

  • Mint, childhood show favorite thanks for posting!

  • Loved this show when I was a kid. I can't stand Knight Rider any more ('cos Hasslehoff is a berk), but Street Hawk is still the business.

  • give me a tv with rabbit ears..commodore 64..and keep my cell. facebook...Obama and this economy...but leave me my Street Hawk!!!!!

  • gayest intro ever

  • Man,machine, streethawk,

  • well the bugatti veyron ss can do 270 now! we getting closer!

  • What makes me genuinely sad is that we will never have the cheese of the 80's again :(

I grew up on this stuff. 10/10

  • @chapmasi Very true. Things were great back then. Street Hawk was one of my favourites back then. The Sweeney, Airwolf, The Equalizer, Robin of Sherwood, The Professionals, Magnum PI, Dempsey & Makepeace, The Goonies, Hawk the Slayer, BMX, Fraggle Rock, Dukes of Hazzard, tape-chewing Betamax and VHS, TV-AM etc etc. Great music and original films. For a kid in the 80's, things were pretty sweet. Today, times are pretty shite.

  • @Fenner1976 Well technically everyone considers what we have now as "better" but its all CGI reality TV, RnB (which i hate with a passion) and PC bullshit....

Kids today have nothing to stir their imaginations, its all provided in big lumps for them

  • @chapmasi Also very true. Agreed. A lot of today's films & TV series, although very clever and impressive in their production and visuals, tend to rely way too much on CGI effects to sell the product, often at the expense of good storylines. There's no true originality in a lot of today's programming. It's all dumbed-down PC toss and too much of the same thing. TV talent & reality shows are a living hell. The licence-fee isn't worth paying, whereas it was back then. Sad times really?

  • i used to really like this. Knightrider, Transformers, Mask, A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, CHiPs too... the 80s were a Mecca for men and their Superherovehicles

  • @marsharent Great television.

  • @marsharent They where the days

  • @marsharent don't forget Hardcastle and McCormick!

  • R.I.P. Bravo UK, thanks Sky

  • This show was sick

  • that was pretty much the saturation point for cars that talk, choppers that blow shit up, magnum pi's moustache and the top secret street hawk motorcycle.

  • TV back then when I was a kid was awesome. Today's TV makers should stop making reality rubbish and go back to thing like this that were entertaining. The 80's could teach them a thing or two!

  • 300 mph lol,suzuki hayabusa will do 220

  • @vrossino46 Yeah... but this is not a Hayabusa . This is STREET HAWK. And Street Hawk CAN DO 300 mph \m/

  • The MAN... Machine... STREET HAWK ♥

  • how can I get this theme tune as a ringtone on my phone? this and knight rider too :)

  • No, Darren. He didnt play the butler in Being There. That was Peter Sellers, my friend.

  • i thought i was street hawk when i was 8 up and down the street on my bike which even had the electric noise button control pad on the front ha what a childhood i had.

  • Did Richard Venture play the butler in Being There?

  • Endlich kommt Street Hawk auf DVD raus!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the reason why have motorbikes.

  • this show was the only reason why i learnt to ride a bike when i was 5yrs old..

  • If modern day criminals saw Streethawk patrolling a city at night, they'd shit their pants.

  • I wanted Knight Rider and Street Hawk to do a cameo together.

I remember during my childhood years, we used to have debates who was better, Knight Rider or Street Hawk.

  • @BermudaEntrepreneur I admit, that would've been really cool if they did do a crossover between those shows

  • @BermudaEntrepreneur ok i got 1 for u.who was better airwolf or blue thunder lol

  • @stevenmcg69 Oh that's easy. Airwolf for sure!

  • @carnage2681 Airwolf was better than Blue Thunder. But if I was a CGI computer animator or Japanese anime cartoonist, I'd do a triple cameo of these 3 machines together. Why not?

  • What the hell was I thinking when I actually thought this show was awesome?

  • was it a yamaha or a honda i dont know the japs bikes looking all the same

  • @TheHockeyfreak1964 All the bikes used in this show were Hondas

The XL500 was the main bike, but for stunts they used CR250's, they used 15 bikes total, the 15th now resides in the Cars of the Stars MuseumStreet Hawk, In Keswick,Cambria UK

  • Damn, If I'm not mistaken, this show first aired on Jan 24th or 27th 1984, when I was 9.

    What's wrong with me?

  • @99Harley1550 I was 9 too. I had completely forgot about this show.

  • Miss my childhood. Me and my cousin , screamed hyper thrust and pedal faster.

  • @siddhartht14

    Dhakkan :P

Hilarious stuff man.. but it was loads of fun this serial. Too bad got cancelled.. knight rider left lil room for two to survive in one room.

  • KNIGHTRIDER ON A FUCKIN BIKE.

    With 1/5th the budget.

  • this is kinda ridiculous but really awesome

  • See when you think about it, we were really spoild in the 80s for action shows, this, the a team, airwolf, blue thunder, automan, chips. The list goes on, and look at what is on now? More channels = more rubbish tv. And on top of that, most of the time we were out playing and only came in to watch the shows and went back out afterwards to be the caracters. My and my mate used to be CHiPs. Pity we grew up

  • ok im gonna say it, thumbs up if you would like the a Honda XL500 pimped out to look like the steethawk bike

  • Why don't the cops have tec like that by now? Maybe they just cant find anyone with the nuts to fight crime on a machine like that. It'd take a near Superman godammit!!

  • I was a young boy when this was broadcast!

  • Get your 80's porn off my youtube.... oh... nevermind then

  • i had a huge crush on jesse, when i was a kid! thx for the video

  • I used to ride my bmx and then say "Turbo" and cycle as fast as i could!! I was only 8.

  • @oscarcanterbury sad cunt

  • @mrmalade Oh go spread yourself on toast

  • @oscarcanterbury you wernt the only one lol

  • @ts3830 Thank god for that. lol

  • i love the theme....synti sound from the 80's

  • Rex Smith Is Looking To Bring Streethawk Back.

  • @trainsify Heck yeah, we need shows like this. I really can't stand 99% of the shows out there.

  • Love the 80s
