Another lady among the crowd had driven much farther than I had just to come there and shop. She said "If you are open, then you should be open!" The asshole manager said "We AREN'T open! We are closing!" The lady turned around and said "Well, I wonder why?????" Kudos to that lady, whoever she was.

I went there on Sunday January 4th. I actually drove from McMinnville to get there...and I called before I left my house to make sure of when they closed. I got there at 5:02. A lady was at the door and a crowd was forming...they were announcing that they were closed. We were then told "We close the doors 30 minutes before closing time." When we pointed out that closing time was 6:00 and it was only 5:00, the lady called out a manager who was a total ass to us and told us to leave. Jerks.

God how I hate Steve & Barrys. I wasted 3 years of my life working there. If people only knew how mis-managed and heartless that company really is. Inadequate staffing is all part of the pricing game, by the way.

what do you expect from a jewish owned company, you gotta cut every corner to make big money which include not keeping employees very long,disregard,african sweatshops,scheduling problems and so on. I'm stayin 9mo to add to my resume

I was learned the last minute before the closing that the jeans didn't last over 6 months, my friend brough a pair a jeans there and 3 months later, his pockets fell apart and never shopped there since. So I really wasn't shocked that it closed, it really didn't have clothes that interests me anyway, I'm sticking with JC Penney.
