Laura, fantastic cake, the animals are so cute. One question... how did you manage to rope your husband into helping you??? Don't think I'll be able to persuade mine to help out (even with some 'wifely duties' te he!!!) :0) Debs

Thank you Debs! LOL! Actually, I didn't have to rope him into it. When we were dating, he started helping me because he saw how busy I was and it was either help me or I couldn't spend any time with him. So he helped, and found that he actually enjoys it tremendously. We have such a wonderful time just sitting there and working together. He is such a loving and caring husband. He loves God with all of his heart and loves me and always puts me first (after God of course). He's a God sent.

Hi Laura. How come you sprayed the color on the cake instead of coloring into the fondant?

Hi! I use airbrushing for several reasons. I like the different tones airbrushing gives, it's a lot easier than kneading the color into the fondant, and I don't waste any unwanted fondant that was colored that color. :)

Laura, te tengo mucha envidia, pero de la buena heeee! lol a mi me encantaria que mi esposo me ayudara con mis pasteles. es mas es mi sueño que nunca se va a cumplir jajajajaj. el es un handyman y eso es bueno tambien, wow que paciencia de tu esposo trabaja muy bien todo le sale muy bonito. pues claro verda? tiene una buena maestra. felicidades les quedo muy bonito este pastel tambien.

hi laura, so pretty as always, ur hubbie did a great job w that jiraffe! beyond perfect! ws wondering, do u buy all your gumpastes and fondant pre made and colored? all the colors look so well blended, i know u spray the fondant sometimes n dec, sorry i question alot im learning....thank u for sharing, god bless...i love how ur husband is so supportive, i bet it makes a job seem like quality time n not work!lol lucky u! :)thanx again..

He'll be very happy to read this comment! :) The only fondant I ever buy pre-colored to turn into gumpaste is red and black because those colors are really hard to achieve with gel colors. Don't worry about the questions! LOL! That's how I learned! :0) My husband and I really enjoy working on decorations together and I'm glad it shows. :0) Thanks again hun! :0)
