  • and not a signle bassplayer was given.

  • why didn't Neil Strauss interview Local H? He is such a poser.

  • brilliant

  • my dad went to high school with these guys

  • seven people haven't found a motherfucker.

  • the guy has a guitar with a bass magnet but i'd like to see them full band 2 guitars bass and drums.god damn i love 90's.i wish i could bring back time

  • i feel like where hes wearing the douche glasses and drinking that fruity drink hes making fun of cobain - kinda looks like him lol

  • man this song makes me wanna kick someone that i hate in the balls.

  • Yes they really KICK-ASS

  • I was thought they were awesome, and always will be. They shoulda been even greater then they were, but big whigs suck.

  • They are still touring in the midwest. They have a show in Chicago this weekend.

  • Nevermind XD

  • Holy shitballs, is he wearing a Pentagram shirt?

  • 7 people are high fivivg mother f^ckers

  • This "video" just demonstrates that any two assholes can make a video and put it on Youtube and pretend to be a "band'. Well, see, your music sucks, your message is 30 years too late and so fucking redundant and cliche that it makes normal people screw up their face in disgust. FUCK YOU TWO LITTLE NO TALENT ASSHOLES.

  • @TeenCretin go fist yourself you cock sucking faggot

  • @TeenCretin Cool story, bro. Go listen to your Nickleback or Lil Wayne or whatever shit you listen to.

  • @TeenCretin You are the funniest MF I have seen..... HAHAHAAAAA

  • @nikesb2406 That polo college nerd poser was right....your musical taste stinks....it's fuckwads like you that have lowered the standard of music to the point where assholes like Local H can actually put out music...FUCK YOU TOO!!

  • @TeenCretin dude go fuck yourself. your standards of music are probably fake as fuck. go listen to your nickleback albums some more. dick licker.

  • @TeenCretin Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @nikesb2406 Going to parties is lame, and you're a college educated white kid. Stop trying to type like a lower-class minority.

  • I'm Loving It.....H.

  • great shit. especially for a 2 man band

  • haha Local H was so awesome.

  • @SinnerOrASaint, Still awesome,I'm gonna see them Friday night.

  • @SinnerOrASaint They still are! Saw them play last year and dammit, Scott can still rock the fuck out!

  • @SinnerOrASaint stil are :P

  • is

  • Loved these guys should've been bigger.

  • @harr77 Yeah, they should have been bigger, but corporate politics stopped them dead in their tracks. I remember when their second album "Pack Up The Cats" came out and I fell in love with that record. I thought they were gonna go places- at least until that Universal-PolyGram merger that came a few months later. That shake-up on a higher level basically killed that record off and they were dropped from Island Records by the time the merger was over. It's a shame because they were really good.

  • @MyJunior1975 Were?, they still are. That sucks though. Thanks for the explanation. I just recently started gettin into them when I heard California Songs, and I was wondering why these guys weren't more mainstream.

  • @5hudsonc Yeah, they probably would have been huge in the 2000's, had the shake up at the corporate level not crippled their rise to stardom. Do yourself a favor and pick up their first two albums- "As Good As Dead" (where you can find "Bound For The Floor" as well as "High Fiving MF"), as well as "Pack Up The Cats" (which is my personal favorite).

  • @MyJunior1975 #2 and #3. "Ham Fisted" was their first album

  • Oh my, Scott looks so young here.

  • the best part is 1:10

  • Guitar & drum...Gotta luv it.

  • RAGE!!!

  • Searously underrated mo fucka!

  • That guy with the glasses looks like Stephen King...lol

  • Mother Fucker this is a great song !

  • what if this was cobains son

  • 90's Albums I just press play on

Local H: As Good As Dead, Live: Throwing Copper,Smashing Pumpkins: Siamese Dream, Pearl Jam: Ten, Nirvana: Unplugged, Collective Soul: self-titled, Stone Temple Pilots: Purple, Metallica: Black Album, G'n'R: Use Your Illusion 1&2, Weezer: Blue Album, Rancid: Out Come The Wolves, Fifteen: Lucky, Voo Doo Glow Skulls: Band Geek Mafia, NIN: Fragile, Meatloaf: BOH: Back Into Hell, NoFx: White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean, REM: Monster, and everything Sublime

  • cant wait for there new cd

  • why didn't this band ever make it?

I hear bound for the floor almost everyday on the radio. but nothing else.

all their songs deserve some radio time.

  • @ChubbehBubblez i agree, as a long time fan of the band i have turned atleast 75% of my friends over the years into fans of local h. it amazes me people dont recognize them more.

  • @ChubbehBubblez Well, at least you're lucky to hear Bound for the Floor" on the radio(what kind of radio...To this day, I still wonder why it wasn't a hit in France, or why their record company didn't "work" local H more."Floor" didn't get radio or TV airplay here (I don't know for other european countries) and whenever I play it to friends, even now, they go "wow...this is a hit, great song" etc.. They could have made it with more support(they played 1 TV show and 1 show here. Period).

  • I adore grunge and even more specifically Local H. The grunge of the 90's really paved the way of much music heard today. Silverchair is another extraordinary grunge band; it isn't all about Nirvana which people tend to over glorify. Kurt Cobain wanted nothing to do with publicity hense the video they put out of In Bloom.

  • Late 90s was the end of good music for me. 2000 and onward has had little to offer (thank the corporations for that).

  • I bet you even named your........grand prize....... monster truck. best lyric EVER!

  • this band is so fucking awsome

  • They sound alot like the offspring in this song definitaly. "You crass FAT ASS!" (I think thats what they say lol)

  • i think its "you crashed, fat ass"

  • @crowboy99 Hmmm could be lol I looked up the lyrics and it says crass. But they're wrong sometimes.

  • @crowboy99 He says, "you crass fat ass"

  • @DX4LIFFE I agree. It sounds like the guitar, bass, and drums of Smash melded with the satirical lyrics of Americana. Bet the Offspring were inspired by this kind of stuff when they wrote pretty fly for a white guy.

  • local h was good.dont know if there still around.the 90s music was so much better than this new pop rap music

  • The whole album is amazing. I played a bunch of songs from this album in a band back in the 90s :)

  • The funny thing about this song is that it makes fun of the very same head bangers who like it. :) if you like this, check out Fritz's Corner.

  • @ffejbboc

I thought this song was about money-grubbing asshole producers...idk, that's just my take on it. That's the cool thing about music, you can interpret it however you want.

  • @stpsoadNDND I don't know many producers who drive monster trucks or are jacked up on steriods...i thought it was making fun of the typical redneck metal heads...the kind of guys who go to mosh pits because they like to hurt people. :)

  • @ffejbboc that makes sense, too. you'd probably have to ask Scott himself, but i think the scene in the elevator kind of portrayed that to me, plus, producers have their own individualities like everybody else. my bf is going to school for recording and all his producers/teachers are WAY different from each other.

  • Awesome kick ass song, I wonder who inspired the offspring?

  • Awesome kick ass song, I wonder who inspired the offspring?

  • Had the pleasure of seeing them three times over the last month , including the final tour stop at the Metro . Phenominal live band ! The shows at both the Canopy Club and at the Metro saw them play Pack Up The Cats in it's entirety . If you haven't heard PUTC ...there's three songs on it that i dub the "trifecta" of rock . Hit the Skids-500,000 Scovilles-What Can I Tell You .Check it out .

  • Wow more people need to know this band

  • one of the most underrated bands of all times... this band fucking rocks

  • I love this song like crazy.

  • awsome video

  • great, awesome song. i remember listening to this with my ,motivational, brother growing up. one- of - a - kind song! just enjoy!

  • "Grunge" is a form of punk rock that became big from bands that where mainly settled in the north west of America. It is a form of punk in that it is considered "easy to play" normaly being 3-5 riffs repeated over the whole song. Nirvana played on a E based guitar (cant remember if it was flat or not) making it a pinch more easy for Kurt to play lefty on a right handed guitar......... Grunge bands of the 90's where called that based more on the look of the band then the sound.

  • @Vladdamyre Actually, grunge is a branch of alternative rock. Punk was an influence on early grunge, but so was heavy metal. That's why it has a sort of bare-bones feel to it (punk influenced), but you see some very tricky instrumentation and tempo changes in many songs (which is the complete antithesis of what true punk rock is about, and why it came to be in the first place).

  • @AdioZeroTensorSK8 , WELL !

  • @AdioZeroTensorSK8

"Grunge" is just a term coined by the media when Nirvana exploded.

  • Great music is abound!! Sadly your local radio station probably won't be playing any of it. Hit up satellite radio, at least you can hear a variety of songs from a variety of musical styles. Local H kicks ass too, how many other 2 man bands do you know?

  • @jweipert Ummm.....well, there's the White Stripes, then you have the Black Keys. I know of one from booneyville, tx called Vaste Burai....they're heavy as fuck. That's all I can think of. So, 3. I know of 3 other two-man bands.

  • @wesjoe311 , I'm a bit confused and want to stay that way . Thank you and good by.

  • Lol I love Local H.

  • Playin live at Shark City tonight! Cannot wait to see them again, it's been years and they better play this!

  • this is amazing!!!!!!!

  • Local H has been trying to get rep for years but it never works out, they even played on the Conan O' Brien show and their still not as popular as they should be, so their asking for your help to make them as big as most rock stars, post comments, make videos, give shoutouts, whatever it takes they need some help, and whats better at getting people popular than youtube?

copy and paste to as many videos as possible

  • Whats wrong with people calling thins grunge?? why do people make so much trouble, i mean come on, there are lots of peaple that don't even have a fucking house, and we are fighting about a stupid name, what does it even matter... i mean i think it is easyer, i mean rock is a huge word, guns 'n' roses is rock to, but it is different... very different... i really don't get the point of this uselessfighting, you want to make a change go to haitti and help the people rebuld there houses...

  • how come u can label things as punk or rock or pop but we cant call things grunge. i mean sure all music is different but thats why bands have names.

  • @IronSaucer some people don't know what grunge is. Thats why. I just call this post-nirvana, but I love Local-H, but I think you can kinda see my reasoning for the name =)

  • scotts hair is awesome in this video, why would he ever change it

  • thank goodness no one ever told me that Local H was "grunge," because I would have avoided them and missed out on the kickass balls-out music.

    rise above the labels, people.......

  • Funny thing is, there is no such thing as "grunge."

Nirvana was a generic punk rockband, and so is Local H.

  • y would you avoid them?

its just an better reason to see them

  • Local H is the definition of grunge you stupid fuck.

  • How they can they fake grunge when grunge is nothing but a made up term used as a promotional vehicle.. Local H rocks, and the genre they play is called "Rock" music

  • Comment removed

  • Local H at the Peppermint Beach Club for $5 and we picked the set. Riddle of Steel opened up. Best show I've EVER seen.

  • high fivein mother truckerrrrrrrrrrr !!!

  • yes they are very underr rated so is the Urge from the lou i miss little club there mississippi nights tore down a put casino there so local h in thunderbird tore it up

  • @Schutzstaffel604

I seen them ( this drummer) and lead singer....his name don't come to mind now -a-days. But anyway the dude was a dick to his fans, it came out in many of his songs, if he wasn't doggin the fans, like in the song "Half-life" and this one), he was hating on Eddie Vedder.

    The music was good.

  • yay! i saw them live in st. pete with silverchair, local h killed with a dif drummer and the pit was too hard for me to tell if he offended us!

  • lol screamerjoe? you wouldn't happen to be from chicago would you? i go to local h shows all of the time and he never fails to put on a show (musically or otherwise) if you were there in chicago i probably was too.

  • This incarnation of Local H, fucking rocked man. I still cannot believe how underrated this album is. Joe Daniels was a freaking awesome drummer, he has a style a lot like Dave Grohl, and the dynamic combination of a white guy and a black guy made Local H awesome.

  • i think the joe daniel days were the best for local h

  • Well, Joe Daniels was on Pack Up the Cats...one of my favorite Local H albums. Then again, Brian St. Clair was on Whatever Happened to P.J. Soles? so I'd say they're about even in my books.

  • Amazing song. Lolz at the stage dive fail near the end of the video. Also, Joe Daniels is a frigging INTENSE drummer, too bad he left. Brian St. Clair isn't bad either though.

  • very under rated in this country, get their ass out here!!!

  • Local H = CHOICE

  • Dude listen to Eddie Vedder

  • I've always dug this song

  • i think this song is about guys that think they use to be cool and now there high fiving mother fuckers

  • lol

  • high five for that observation motherfucker! ;)

  • thanx u motherfucker

  • you high fivin' mother fu*ker... LOL

  • they remind me of nirvana, how they diss stereotypes who listen their band.

  • Damn my nigga, that song was off the hook.those mothafuckas went hard.

  • @kurvana88 They ,and I , are from Chicago. I guess that's why alot of people have'nt heard of them .

  • @vetch12 they're actually from my current town: Zion, IL -a good ways north of Chi-town

  • @kurvana88

Dude check out their live at the metro manifest destiny part 2. That is some serious shit.

  • This song is the anthem fo all the people that are pissed off and want to do something about it!!! LOVE IT!!!

  • at 3:33 they go crazy

  • What a BAD ASS song. Please give me some more of this and no more of that shit from today's radio.

  • Try Second Coming. They're pretty hard to find though.

  • @ImperatorDerGalaxis Couldn't have said it better!

  • Thanks to those of you for posting some of the lyrics! I've loved this "song" since I bought the CD many, many years ago...but never looked into the lyrics. Now I can sing along with confidence! This is by far my favorite song on the CD!

  • i first heard this song live at poinfest 2 last year, it was so dam annoying. but then it grew on me and all of my friends. dam what a great band

  • i saw these guys last year and they kicked ass....... but what happened to the original drummer??

  • lmfao i remember when i first heard this on an internet radio station, i laughed so damn hard

  • they're so awsome its like nirvana but less dead and funnier

  • @fartknocker73 ha ha so messed up

  • i fucking love this song, reminds me of all the douches from high school, and all those fucking metrosexual , poser fuckers from my neighborhood that i hate and wish they chocked on cock

  • dude ur halarius!!!!!!

  • hell yeah

  • I love his voice...awesome song...great band.

  • i got a white t-shirt and wrote local h in the front and high fiving mother fucker on the back....

no one even knew who they where it was sad....but got alot of attention hopefully more fans

  • I l o v e this song

  • pwned

  • this song is so awesome, along with its really random ending... hahaha.

  • OWNAGE

  • think that wuz the longest he's ever had his hair

  • than he had to cut it sadly!

  • local h is the fucking shit

  • Comment removed

  • you do kno that being "the shit" is a good thing, right?

  • not knowing the fuckin shit is a good thing is not the fucking shit

  • Comment removed

  • i have seen local h a few times and it gets better every time, been listening to them since the 90's

  • local heroine. they are fucking amazing

  • Yo don't give me shit saying this sounds like nirvana.

  • dude nirvana didnt sound like this after Bleach, Kurt died long ago, yes they invented the sound, tho this doesnt grant them domain over it. Many bands resemble Nirvanas sound, ever heard of Earshot?

  • Actually, The Melvins created this sound. The Melvins rock. So does Local H.

  • While i would agree there, as anyone who has read the book "come as you are" could glean.

But then again, how many people outside of Seattle have heard of the melvins. most people would auto-credit Nirvana for the sound simply cuz they didnt know that Kurt listened to the Melvins and Mookie Blaylock and the meat puppets, Etc. The melvins didnt take it to the level these guys did either, because, in my opinion, they were not nearly as talented. Dave Grohl had more talent alone.

  • Met Grohl when he was someone and he is cool. Met these guys before they were cool and they were just as cool.

  • Alot of bands "created" the sound. Not just Cobain or Nirvana. Scott is a fucking genius, so, whoever is hating, go fuck off.

  • @cool3929 i know grunge should practicly be a science...it demostrates all sounds that most artist would originally throwout of a song for example both scott and kurt utilized the power of feedback its amazing

  • @cool3929

    >Hating

    >This is not rap music w/pussy niggers who snitch

    >Does not compute

  • this rules. i lol'd. you crass fat ass!
