I recommend Six Feet Under and True Blood for you. Twin Peaks as well. Based on your recommendation, I had season one of Dexter, I bought it about a year ago really cheap and hadn't watched it. After you raved about it I watched in last weekend and loved it! I only came across your reviews last week. Michael C Hall is in Six Feet Under as well as Dexter! He is amazing!! I really enjoyed your reviews!

@seviwesuohetarepsed Thanks, I love all those shows. Yes, Dexter is brilliant and has stayed consistently so. I still think S1 is my fave though as love the story of his childhood.I have only watched Season 1 of SFU so need to get going on more of that as I know it's brilliant!

@DVDeMm I'm glad you love SFU, I just think it's the most incredible series ever made, Alan Ball is a genius. Season five is my favourite SFU season, honestly gets better as it goes along in my view.

I just bought season two and three of Dexter the other day and am going to watch season two next weekend!

In grounded for life also the writers changed in season 5 it sucks that henry wasn't in it , don't you think season 5 was rushed?

You should get Season 5 (both parts) of Nip/Tuck on DVD - its the best season! Its a lot less disturbing (in my opinion) than the other seasons and its a lot more comedic :)

that prisoners show, i never heard of it, i looked it up, cause no box set that big should go unseen by me, lol but its only available in the uk :(

the soap opera's here that have lasted that long or longer suck, half thhe episode has them looking at each other for a minute before going to a commercial break and one could span over 3 episodes, its annoying. i may just import it, sound like a great series, thanks 4 showing..oh and to hell with anyone who gets annoyed with your proud collection

Yeah..season 4 was pretty lame.

It did kinda came back during season 5.

I'm really looking forward to season 6 though!

Do they have Veronica Mars boxsets in region 2 that are not split in 2 parts. Because I hate it when they sell a season in parts especially for Supernatural.

Here in Belgium we have, but every season (for the moment they released 2 seasons) is splitted in 2 parts, but I hate those because they barely have extras, are more expensive and because I prefer DVD-boxsets that are slightly bigger than normal DVD cases. So I'll be obliged to buy region 1 DVD's.

I've got Nip/tuck but haven't got round to watchimg it yet and the same goes for ER: S1. I think I would really like Grounded for Life so might have to get those box sets. But the only thing nowadays is that the shipping is soo expensive on amazon US and everything gets custom charged. B4, royal mail didn't custom charge you on everything. Like the odd dvd box set would slip through but now the f-ing fat cats are taxing everything that comes through.

I got my Grounded for Life sets from Amazon marketplace new from sellers on there. Its only 1.24 shipping per set and if the value of the DVD is under £18 you wont get taxed.

Yeah I never saw them all on TV. They showed it late night here so not many people saw it and I think they only showed up to S3. It was fun watching them all on DVD!

CW? More like C-dubYUCK. I can't watch season three, I CAN'T! I will go into a depression knowing I'll have NO NEW EPISODES after I finish it! Yay, another person who likes S03 of Nip/Tuck! A classic DVDeMm quote "The last time it was a disturbingly perfect drama, then it just got disturbing." Classic! Grounded for Life is classic for me, every friday me and my mom would watch a block of tv, and Grounded for Life was part of it. We absolutely loved it.

Great stuff, VM S3 was still great, but CW changed it so much, ughh. Dexter is great, I'm a bit behind on Season 3 but it's really good so far. I know what you mean about Family Guy, it really is just half the show it used to be :( ER is good, I still haven't watched Season 3!

Dexter is amaaaazing. I really need to catch up on Season 3, I haven't watched the last ep yet. Its very good and Im happy they did follow the books after season 1.

I have that chunky Family Guy box too! Its the first one i got. I've gone off that show a bit now too, it just gets a bit boring after a while.

Nip Tuck sounds really good, especially the 3rd season with the "Carver"! That name is so cool for a bad guy "Carver"!

The Carver was an amazing story arc if ever I saw one! He was really creepy too, the mask was scary! And he was called the carver cause he carved joker-like smiles on girls faces after raping them! Pretty gruesome but such a good watch! lol. You'd definitely love the first three seasons.

Everybody blames The CW for ruining their favourite shows or taking the quality down. I like the original run of episodes of family guy but now I find it unbearably bad. Great vid.
