seriously no offence but you have bad aim with a mouse, if that is indeed what you are using, you also unnecessarily jump to dodge but that seems to be interfering with your aiming, try not jumping so much and use a controller instead (i know that sounds retarded but it really helped me during instagib matches

Player mods on PS3 was a big mistake; PS3 users are using mods with assets ripped out of PC games. Allowing models from Halo and GOW to appear on PS3 unlicensed, companies obviously are not pleased.

The PC modding community saw this was a potential issue and refused to bake certain mods for PS3, which the PS3 users did against the owner's permission anyway.

Console users don't have the discipline to use mods responsibly; sooner or later a company is going to take action.

The problem is copyrighted game assets are being 'illegally distributed' on a platform that has not been licensed to use them.

If you don't see the problem then you are probably one of these people who would bake a mod for PS3 against the owner's permission, regardless of the consequences. The PC modding community existed for years knowing knowing to add but never to take, these PS3 mods use actual game assets ripped out of games like Crysis and Halo.

It is asking for allot of trouble.

I never said that, I said PS3 users are using them irresponsibly.

Currently there is some PS3 guy who not only baked a modders work for PS3 without permission but is also taking the credit for the mod. Stuff like this, added with the complete disrespect for copyright law, shows PS3 users need to shape up in the modding scene.

Console users aren't used to free user content, they need to learn how to enjoy it responsibly.

As for corporate responses, Microsoft responded to the Halo mod.

Rather than make a complete ass of themselves they have twisted it to their advantage; they call the mod a novelty and that even PS3 users wish they could play Halo, which many 360 players took delight in.

But this could have easily ended badly, there was nothing to stop Microsoft issuing a cease and desist order. Something that happened to the recent Jurassic Park Mod for Crysis, which was stopped deep in development.

Nevertheless it was a fan service, 360 gamers would love the idea that only they have access to a game PS3 users secretly want. There is nothing to stop someone from buying several different gaming platforms, but there is tension between the platform exclusive players regardless.

At the end of the day people are lucky Microsoft didn't take action; it is perfectly within the copyright holders rights to demand anyone who uses their content without permission to trash the mod.

as for VOICE CHAT: The last patch fixed it. The default is Right on the Dpad. I remaped it to L2 (Go to input > Audio)
