ive read both books, was like trying to row up stream without any paddles..you throw too much bs, too much theory, not enough solid facts and you get books that are just a chore to read rather than a pleasure or a page turner to read. as far as the movies go..Tom Hank's hair looks so freaky it just distracts from the whole movie..and i love his acting..but for god sake kill the hair dresser that did his hair. the movies were awful and no where really close to the books. the book endings better.

As for the movies, they will always be "awful and no where really close to the books". That's always the case when you have a ginormous story to tell and about 90 minutes to tell it.
