  • I am the complete opposite of a sleeper than you.

  • @BraidsForever really really lucky :)

  • 1. Rinsing - I do the same thing.

    2. I use lemon juice

    3. Gonna try the Biore strips tip today

    4. Coconut oil is awesome! Hair, body, face, increased metabolism ...

    5. Oil pulling daily (using coconut oil)

    6. I usually sleep on my back

    7. = parts plain yogurt, lemon juice, and honey. I then leave it on my face over night

    8. Milk of magnesia on my face to tone down oiliness

... I think that's all the tips I've got! Great vid.

  • @dazzlings I've just gone through my beauty stuff and am either throwing out or giving away stuff I'm not gonna use.

I love DAISO!! So happy they have that and Neo here in Bangkok. :-) I didn't see any makeup though. Eyelashes and glue only.

  • I just started watching you today and I love it!!! I'm also really OCD about NOT touching my face! My husband gets really offended when I don't let him touch my face, whenever someones finger gets close to my face I get really freaked out about the germs on their fingers. I also use tissue if I have to touch my face.

  • I just discovered your channel and I find myself watching all your videos back to back right now! Lol. You are so addicting to watch and amazing. I had to subscribe. Keep up the good work. Your videos are helpful!

  • @MixdBarbieDollNguyen awww thank u :) that's what i like to hear lol :)

  • @MixdBarbieDollNguyen Very true! Me too. :-)

  • OMG I do all of that! Especially the not touching your face thing, or letting other people. I'm not the only one!

  • @redcollie99 this video makes me feel less weird since so many ppl commented saying they don't let others touch their face either!

  • My mom uses alcohol on her face and that is it. Skin is beautiful. Grandmother uses Vasiline every day. She also says was the sheets and don't touch your face. I'm lazy with that so I have about 6 sets of sheets and pillowcases galore. I think we forget about vitamins and water and trying not to stress because that affects our skin too.

  • My grandma recommends avoiding hot water on your face as much as possible - she's over 60 and gets gasps every time she tells people, she looks amazingly young! It's because hot water damages your capillaries - y'know how when you get older you get those weird red threads on cheeks etc - if you keep away from super hot water in the shower etc you can stop them becoming damaged :)

  • @usagixbun this is all so true....ehhh same goes for hot water and hair...too bad hot water feels so nice, lol! we all have to try though :)

  • everytime u eat fruits or veggies at home, squeeze some of its juice and apply on the face for 10 minutes and then rinse!

  • @yapandachka love it...my mother and grandmother all do things like that :)

  • ew yea gross. never thought to actually clean the phone. my skin is so sensitive i need to be more careful of environmental (phone, bedding) surfaces. using non fragranced non dyed detergent is helpful too! good tips, thanks so much

  • Could you add more instructions to lemon juice idea? I'm clueless ;) lol

  • Oh my gosh!!! The lemon juice REALLY helped ALOT!!! Thank you sooo much for the tip. I love biore strips they are awesome but putting the lemon juice helped the strip get all of the blackheads and dirt out of my skin. Thanks for these tips you have really great skin so obviously these tips work

  • @KaraMeah i'm so happy to hear it - glad it worked for u too!

  • @kristannbby lol i love it..you're disciplined!

  • thanks for the info

  • 0@lele6921 thx for watching :

  • Girl, do you even have pores??? You have the most perfect skin and face I think I've ever seen in my life!

  • @KaaarenLynn yes i do! maybe i'll get all really up close one day :)

  • I love your lemon juice tip. Now if I can remember to do it...

  • When I rinse shampoo and conditioner out of my hair in the shower, I stand with my back toward the shower head and tilt my head back, rinse, then turn sideways and rinse, and then do the other side. I keep one finger in my ear on each side. But the water never touches my face. :-)

  • @doopsieoopsen lol..i'm imagining this rotation take place and it's so cute :)

  • My chiropractor says you should never sleep on you stomach because it DOES mess up your neck.

  • @doopsieoopsen preach!

  • After removing your makeup pre-workout, try applying an antioxidant serum. Because your pores open while you exercise, you absorb more of the beneficial ingredients in the serum, and you end up with an amazing glow!

A trick that often helps me with blemishes is to apply a hot compress (i.e., a washcloth soaked in hot water) to the area. This will help to quell the inflammation and to reduce swelling and redness.

  • @thefairestofthemalll oooh good tip with the post workout open pores! i actually use a hot cloth to bring the yuck in the zit to the surface so i can pop it!

  • what really helps with my skin is the oil cleansing method and one thing that I consider the ultimate skin care beauty secret is sea buckthorn oil....it brings down the inflamation or a zit ASAP! its amazing and not only that its anti-aging and it doesn't clog pores...

  • @mexifaith sounds like a miracle :) googled it and it sounds awesome!

  • I rinse my shampoo and conditioner out the same way.

  • The only tip I have is to drink plenty of water!

  • @SinWingKi that is true and has scientific proof!

  • I always sleep on my back too! I think I should start showering at nights. I love giving myself face massages with coconut oil..and the using hot rags to remove the oil. It really helps loosen the black heads, moisturizes, cleanses and helps with circulation. Also very relaxing :]

  • @makeupbynumbers that's a good idea xD & a question whatever happened to your channel?

  • @makeupbynumbers ooh sounds good...have coconut oil in my house...have used it as a hair mask...but on the skin sounds nice too!

  • also clean the makeup off the bridge of your glasses if you wear them. makeup can get stuck on your glasses (where the nose bridge is) every time you wear them. great vid!

  • @aulae agreed!

  • lol i loved this. Ive heard of some random tips and tricks, tht have no scientific proof yet i still do them too haha, im going to tap my moisturiser in now too :D

its true, you can feel if your skin will get bad.

one tip i heard is to have a silk pillow case. :]

  • @t0MaToe i HAVE a silk pillow case, lol! i have it for my hair...since my hairs love to shed, but didn't know that it did anything for the skin?

  • @fashionismycrush i think in ur case it wouldnt matter so much becuz i heard its better or cleaner if your face touched the pillow. and....im not even so sure! hahahha

    urghh my hair sheds too!

  • My mom taught me to never touch my face and she also doesn't let anyone touch her face and I'm the same way!! Glad I'm not the only one who does this :) I also keep my shampoo and conditioner off my face as I'm rinsing AND I'm learning to sleep on my back. Love these vids from you, thanks so much for all your advice.

  • @roglesby74 happy u enjoyed it :)

  • I do the tapping on moisturizer too. and you were right, the benefit it provides is stimulating circulation! I also find that it works better to tap it on rather than rub it around, because sometimes moisturizers can go on streaky or start to ball up.. and that just pisses me off.. haha

  • @TheZeelee true story!

  • I am really trying to not touch my face too often but I do it all the time. XD

  • @Whippoful keep at it :) good luck:)

  • I like your tips. I don't have any tips though but everything you said sounds so right :) I notice that when I sleep on my stomach (which I prefer), my face is sometimes crushed and I have patterns on my skin (LOL).

  • @jubidzz patterns on your skin, lol...that's hilarious..it's happened to me before too..when traveling on a plane or in a car and u have those smaller pillows and u just shove it wherever is more comfortable...i have patterns too :)

  • like you, i do not aloow anyone to touch my face and i never touch my own face! i have to wash it right after if that happens :S also, i do not let shampoo running down my face since i can't open my eyes after haha

Thanks for the lemon with the strips, i'll try that next time :)

  • @kukishop i know! how do people do that and not get soap in their eyes! actually jay does that and it never gets in his eyes....i have no clue how it works...i told him to stop doin it though!

  • I hate it when people touch my face! To help keep my skin clean, I wash and disinfect my make up sponge or brush every time I use it. Also, I keep my eye creams/gels in my refrigerator because they feel soothing and depuff my eyes because it's cold and I feel like it keeps them from going bad!

  • @sarahdams lol i hate when ppl touch my face too...my immediate reaction is to step back, lol!

  • I am sure that a lot of people know this already, but your nails and hair reflect your health. If something weird and or unusal is going on with either, pay attention!!

  • @CrazyBubblesxD so true...personal experience!

  • thanks for those tips!!! really helpful!! I really want to try that diluting lemon onto your nose thing... thanks!

  • @jaimmie27 hope it works for u :)

  • I wash my face every morning and night with Clean and Clear blackhead clearing scrub, i do the queene helene facial masque twice a week, I started using witch hazel recently and it is great! I usually don't use moisturizer because i have oily skin and i'm afraid i'll breakout, any suggestions for moisturizers good for oily skin?

  • @flyinsolo2 Clean and Clear's Dual Action moisturizer, it works amazingly!!

  • @flyinsolo2 use a mattifying moisturizer! the one i use is by clean & clear and it's oil free. it'll make your face completely matte. otherwise, if you're just going to wear makeup over it anyways, an alternative could be to just use matte foundation or powder, it'll cover the dewyness or the oiliness of the moisturizer right away. (:

  • @LizzieeLoui Thanks! I've been wanting to try clean and clears moisturizers, I'm definately going to try it!

  • @flyinsolo2 this it totally random but give it a try..skip using the scrub in the morning and just use witch hazel w/ a cotton pad...i've read that oily skin can produce more oil if you over strip the oils with too much cleansing...see if that makes a difference...oh and try cetaphil moisturizer :)

  • I know a lot of people I know that put on some make up before working out and I'm always like, WHY would you do that?, thanks for sharing that it is not the best thing to do lol.

  • @flyinsolo2 i know, right!

  • thanks for the tips i will definitely try them :) xx

  • @jskye87 enjoy :)

  • do you speak hindo?

  • @salenarocks hindi? no :) i can understand a bit though :)

  • Lots of wonderful tips and they all make sense. I try so hard not to sleep on my side but its difficult. Sleeping on your side is a cause of crows feet. :(((( So you are so lucky that you sleep on your back without troubles.

  • @SammyFabulous oh crows feet...didn't know that...thx for watching :)

  • Great video! I think the only weird thing I do for my face is tying my hair back at night. I always think the hair is going to get in my face at night and the oils from my hair will cause a breakout.

  • @wowzure120 omg totally something i would do!

  • When i have a blemish I put honey on it to shrink it's size. I just leave it on for maybe 10 minutes and then wipe it off and continue with my regular skin care routine. I find that if i do this for a couple nights the blemish will be pretty much gone by the second morning.

  • @AmySaysRawr15 hmm curious..want to try it!

  • I use the oil cleansing method. OCM. There are many videos on here about the process, as well as many different ways to do so. I like to apply a good amount of extra virgin olive oil to my dry face and to give myself a facial massage, w/ circular motions- blackheads appear on my fingers and hands and I will get them off and possibly add more evoo, At the end, I take a wash cloth w/ hot water- hot as I can stand, ring out, and leave on my face for a couple seconds..wipe off, ect x3. Rinse w/ cold

  • @RosElisabeth omg for real!?!?!? u make me wanna go try this RIGHT now...anything to remove blackheads!

  • I always pat my foundation on because it seems to blend better but i never thought of patting moisturiser... no idea why i never made that connection! i will defffs be trying the lemon juice thing! i used lemon juice as a cleanser for a couple of weeks when my normal one ran out and i kept forgetting to buy it, i never really paid attention to what it was doing to my blackheads though... Thankyou for the tips :)

  • @xxjabyxx enjoy patting it all on :)

  • Awesome tips!! I never knew adding the lemon juice beforehand would have better results!!

My weird habit is avoiding cars and bus exhausts when I can, by turning my head to the other side, to not get blown full in the face with the exhaust since its crazy dirty and dusty. If I do get it, I wash my face asap.

  • @heywaiterr lol i do that too and hold my breath!

  • I've never heard of lemon juice to extract blackheads. Brilliant!

    xo Angela

  • @quixoticgirly hope it works for u :)

  • I never go outside without my SPF lotion..even if it's for literally a minute..the sun can do tons of damage to the skin, especially the face..plus I'm light skin and my skin is super sensitive to the sun

  • @MissArmenta AMEN!

  • i really want to try that lemon thing and then using the pore strip. it sounded so.. nasty? when you were describing how the blackheads actually come out more -shivers- haha but i really want to try it.

as someone said, i don't face the shower head when i rinse my hair either. when i use masks that need to be rinsed or facial wash in the morning, i rinse it off with a sponge. :| i try the patting in your products too! i think it works better since it gets more easily absorbed.

  • @AznCutiieJ yeah go for it - apply the lemon juice and wait 5-10 mins until u can see the pores open up and the blackheads come up a bit..then use the strip :) woohoo on the not facing the shower and the patting on of products!

  • When I apply anything on my face, I always let it settle for a couple of minutes (especially my moisturizer. I let it settle for at lease 5 minutes). I live by it and I feel like that lets the product sink into my skin, making it work better.

  • @apurpledolphin i agree...i do the whole letting products sink in too..mostly my moisturizer and then my bb cream :)

  • i do the shower thing as well! but, i also clip my hair up while it's being conditioned and i prefer to wash/loofah my body and wash my face after i have rinsed my hair of shampoo & conditioner bc i want to make sure all the conditioner and dirty hair water is completely off my body.

  • @SH1Nd1GG1TY oooh wow...clipping it up sounds like a really good idea!

  • You should do a video of smoking hooka

  • @TheBeautyfashionlove maybe in a follow me around vid :)

  • i want to learn how to sleep on my back, but i cant do it! i try every night, but when i turn into my side ways i insantly start yawning lol :D i do the shower thing too btw :)

  • @PinkBlushing lol keep trying..i support u :) high5 on the shower thing..i always thought i was the only one!

  • @fashionismycrush haha, thanks :D

  • I started applying my sunscreen first then apply moisturizer and lotion after watching DermTV recommend chemical sunscreens always go first before moisturizer.

  • @Morganeezy i do that too! i heard that whatever you want to be the most effective is what you should apply first...like at night if you want your anti wrinkling product to be most effective...u should put that first :)

  • I do the shower thing too! I never face the shower head when I rinse my hair out!

  • @kriscatangui cool - i seriously thought i was the only one...i always think...god i'm crazy...all this so no shampoo/conditioner touches my face!

  • How much should I dilute the lemon juice? I really want to try that out.

I'm always half satisfied (because I see some of my blackheads that came out and are stuck to the pore strip) but half disappointed (because I check my nose and obviously not all the blackheads are gone) whenever I use the strips...

  • @sillysallyXD it would depend on your skin's sensitivity...w/ fresh lemons I'd say 70 lemon/30 water..but with the lemon juice concentrate i just use it straight up...make sure to let it sit 5-10 mins until u see the black/white heads come up a bit...then place the biore strip on...i always end up extracting them right then and there and applying the lemon juice again then using the strip....impatience :)

  • Sometimes if I have pimples I will put neosporin on them instead of conventional acne creams like benzoyl peroxide creams or salicylic acid gels. The neosporin doesn't dry out the skin around my pimple but still effectively heals it since it's an antibiotic cream and kills any bacteria

  • @lissing hmm i've always used neosporin after i pop the zit to heal it but never thought to use it as a treatment...is it weird that i'm hoping for a pimple so i can try this out!??!?!?!!? lol!

  • I will definitely try the lemon thing before the pore strips :) I always find it disappointing when the pore strips are ripped out yet I still didn't get all the black heads out :T

  • @crazieecool i know! i always have such high expectations when i use them too!

  • I have been very careful not to sleep on my stomach through out the years as well. I used to know a woman who never let herself smile very big or laugh 2 hard, & failing that if she had 2 bust out w/ laughter she'd keep her lips pursed like a blow up doll, all this 2 combat laugh lines (talk about lookin' funny). It has seemed 2 work, I'll give it that. 4 myself I have 2 let myself laugh & not worry. 4 me that's going 2 far! Enjoyed the vid, u r gorgeous. : )

  • @PinkCookie62 yeah i agree....laugh laugh laugh..but sleep on your back, lol!

  • I scrub my face with aspirin every now and then

  • @gbsalse i did aspirin on and off but never really stuck to it...do u see a difference?

  • I forgot I had that necklace!! Thanks for reminding me, I'm gonna wear it tomorrow.

  • @caling98 love when that happens :)

  • Ps. It looked really sexy/refreshing when you pretended to be in a shampoo commercial... @_@

  • @BadarBasim lol ....thank u....did a little re-enactment for reference purposes!

  • this isnt really relevant to skin, but i have started using a crystal nail file and can notice that my nails have been less peely and brittle :)

  • @babypiiinkxoxo you should try the burts bees hand salve for your nails..just rub some on your nails and cuticles really well a couple times a day or whenever you are using hot water/soap a lot. My nails peel a ton, but when I use that the white of my nails are whiter and they are stronger. It works awesome

  • I wipe the phone, a couple of times a shift at work, as well as the computer key board and mouse, and every time I get on at home (computer stuff) using anti-bacterial wipes, just for cold and flu prevention.

  • @ATimelessBeauty oooh keyboard and computer stuff sounds like a good idea too! thank u :)

  • thank you for the lemon/biore didn't know that one.my tips when i cleans my face:lots of water, soft products(st ives)water splash bottle in my day!

  • Thanks for making this video. My skin care tips- I use a facial steamer to steam my skin and extract white heads. It helps my moisturizer absorb better into my skin. Also ever since i been using my clarisonic i have been getting less break outs.

  • @orangeyumpop i haven't jumped on the clarisonic bandwagon though i think i should :) it doesn't seem to fail anyone!

  • Love ur vids. Thanks for the tips. I always sanitize my makeup counter before applying makeup

  • @ICANDICANE1 good tip :)

  • Before putting a mask on I like to steam my face (the heat opens ur pores), if my skin is bad I'll exfoliate then I'll put the mask on....after I take the mask off I move an ice cube around my face (the cold closes ur pores)

  • @vale44emo oooh you give your face the full spa treatment, lol :) sounds nice!

  • After watching this, i disinfected my phone. hahaha very helpful!

  • @jerseylovers1 lol i probably woulda done the same thing! so quick and easy :)

  • OMG! The lemon juice tips sound awesome!! Will defenitelly try, cuz when i do the blackhead/whitehead extractions I hardly can get some of them in the strip, and feel so sad that I wasn't able to deep clean the pores as I wanted! THnx so much for the tips!!! love your videos as always!

  • @ileanaRecommends ooh good luck..just make sure when u apply the lemon juice to let it sit for 5-10 mins..u should be able to see the pores "emerge" lol!

  • @fashionismycrush thnx so much!!! I will!!

  • I wash my reading glassing and sunglasses quite often because they are like the cell phone in attracting oil. You mentioned using witch hazel and after years of using witch hazel I discovered this year that they make an alcohol free witch hazel. It is called Thayers and it is sold at Whole Foods. It costs around $9 and it is very different from the alcohol one, much better I think.

  • @wanda12411 oooh good idea...i'll mention that in the next video...sunglasses/glasses is a total duh....will look into the alcohol free witch hazel...i think witch hazel already has a fairly low content of alcohol in comparison to other astringents, but alcohol free is of course way better!

  • I love Witch Hazel to. Xsparkage suggested mixing 1 part Witch Hazel, 1 part Apple Cider Vinegar, and 3 parts Green Tea to make a super powered toner. I keep mine in a spray bottle and mist it on every time I wash my face (Avoid the eyes though). It keeps my skin so amazingly clear and vibrant looking. You should defidently try it out <3 ^_^

  • @BadarBasim oooh that sounds pretty heavy duty...i love the sound of it though will give it a go!

  • I wash my hands before I cleanse my face. I don't know if it helps, but my skin is so acne prone that I'll do anything to keep bacteria off of it. Also...I clean my brushes daily and deep clean them with Dawn weekly.

  • @NatrlYngGftdnBlck you're so diligent with brush cleaning! i try :)

  • Thanks so much for the tips! Btw, i meant to say this from your previous video, your zebra-print necklace is adorable! Love it! U always do animal print just right. :)

  • @17foreverJoJo thank u...that's a great compliment!

  • waiting for this video for so long

  • @DIYBEAUTYTIPS88 it came it came :)

  • OMG , I came across an article on the internet and it said that when doing a manicure its bad to soak your nails in water because its drying , so it said to use milk instead :DD ISN'T THAT COOL?!

  • @XxTiana98xX i like that idea...actually i always forgot about milk as an alternative to a lot of skin care related things...it's so gentle but can be a great exfoliant/moisturizer :)

  • AWESOME SECOND COMMENT LOL! GREAT VIDEO!! (: <3

  • @XxTiana98xX thank u :)

  • wow first viewer! :) hope you are enjoying your vacation+time with your family. Thanks for the great tips!
