Omg, that's so cool, because I just got a kitten a week ago! :D & her name is Bella, incidentally. Not after Bellatrix from Harry Potter, but she's named after a character from the book Twilight.
& she tries to eat the string attached to my camera and climb on my keyboard too.
I got that book a while ago, I haven't had time to read at all lately; Crime and Punishment is destroying my life. And yeah... that is crazy! Mom decided she would be a-okay with calling her Bella, so I suppose that is her name now.
Train her to use the toilet. Seriously, you won't regret it. No litter mess, less dander, no odor. My cat is old and I trained him in a month or so. I'm probably gonna make a video about it. Besides, it's just funny seeing a cat use the toilet.
I WOULD LOVE TO DO THAT, I hate litterboxes. She's so tiny though... I'd be scared she'd fall in and flush herself on accident, clutching at the handle for dear life, slamming the seat down as she goes, and WHOOOSH no more kitty. horrorrr.
hahaha nah, she'll be fine. i'm editing a video documenting the process i went through training my cat. it's not that hard, really. you just have to be patient. but teaching them early is probably so much easier.
That's a cute kitty you got there. I love my cat, too. She just turned 8 years old a while back, so she's not a kitten anymore but that's fine. Cats make such great pets because they are super easy to take care of. Just make sure they have food, water, and a clean litter box and your set! Cats can live a long time, too. Sometimes they can live into their twenties. I hope you're in it for the long haul!
Oh, I am in this one for LIFE. Further proof that we are soulmates: my dog came in when I was carrying her around tonight, the cat flipped out and clawed herself up to my neck (to gain higher ground, I can only imagine), and left a big ol' scratch mark RIGHT IN PRIME TATTOO TERRITORY.
That is one adorable kitten! I can't believe your family doesn't like Harry Potter. That's pretty much blasphemy, really.

You should name her Bellatrix. Not only is it original, but it pays homage to the coolest character in the Harry Potter series.

And yes, Bellatrix is the kitten's name now. YAY. Mom's just calling her Bella, but she'll come around, haha.
