Oh and i forgot to mention not everybody likes instrumentals only because I assume most mainstream music has lyrics to them, people tend to make more money with songs if they sing unfortunately.
Not all mainstream is bad but not all underground music is good all that matters is that music is music but i do agree that not airing any of this good music is unfair but hey thats my opinion.
nigga i done seen the worst to come, since my early childhood i was the worsesome one; prime target in my verses? none; but i can rock a whole beat without rehearsin son;.. i start life bright dreams and high hopes, ended up with multiple reflections a kalidescope, damn, life is kalidescopic, everything is ever changing and a person's watchin, me naming he or she can bring me off topic, plus i dont want to bring shade to anybody logic, my rhymes traquilize cause my flow is hypnotic
I think if people want to change whats mainstream we should force wack ass rappers to rap over shit like this the awsomeness alone will blow them right out of the music industry. Cuz i think any moron can rap over an 808 it takes a true MC to rap over hip hop.
long time ago i only listened to hiphop not because of the lyrics rather for the repeating beats, until i heard triphop and all other kind of instrumental music. Its the best music way ever, every fricking rapper raps only shit, i rather listen to a female voice her and there.
I like this song. Its cool. I also hate Gaannnggstaa rap. I also hate Katy perys music that increased STDS and pregnancys in teen girls by 10% this year. Thanks Katy we love you.
this makes me feel like traveling the earth taking a walk catching a tag with my streak!! getting active and appreciating this planet!! relaxing and documenting my steps in this earth!!!
Maybe this music aint' mainstream because most of the world don't want to chill - they want to run around panicking their asses off to some bullshit they read in the papers, hear on the news, watch on the tv and not look at the true beauty in everything that is around them.
Maybe this music aint mainstream because most ofthe world dont wantto chill, they want to run around panicking their asses off to some bullshit they read in the papers, hear on the news, watch on the tv and not realise the true beauty in everything around them :-(
Why is the crap that gets passed as music these days even allowed to play on the airwaves? If we had Nujabes, Fat Jon, Force of Nature, Tsuchie, BoC, and etc. featured on our radio stations instead of the garbage that is played...I think kids and people in general would think more and be more inspired. I reckon there are parallels in nature. One doesn't have to dig to find dirt, but one must dig to find diamonds.
@tribunalfunk i know right black/japanese music is the best but when its (dare is say) "pure black" it tends to be missing something b.t.w im black tand even i admit we need more nujabes playing
@tribunalfunk Play it out loud and the people will turn off their radios and stop listening to the stuff, thet only want to be solled out for the money!
@tribunalfunk The mainstream doesn't deserve these guys. I don't like the idea that the mainstream or even an individual forcing/spoonfeeding this stuff to the mass. Like you said, one must dig to find diamonds. You appreciate the diamonds a lot better that way.
@tribunalfunk Amazing quote! I just found out about Five Dees and Fat Jon - I can't believe I haven't heard this amazing music before. It should be a sin in the bible to hide music this innovative and good! Thank goodness we have You Tube now to find those diamonds among worthless coal
@tribunalfunk It is by design. Crap disguised as music is played on the airwaves because a dumbed down world is beneficial to the powers that be. Music can be a weapon of mass construction but in the case of the times we are now living in it is a weapon that has been turned against us. Those who listen to the radio frequently as a source for musical satisfaction inspiration are being poisoned auricularly by the mainstream. Musical vibrations can provoke thought and actions and this is known.
@tribunalfunk I believe there is a plan for us created by the same people who orchestrated 9/11, own the media, and own the banks. Their aim is not the spiritual uplift of man and woman. Instead, they want to either enslave us or kill us if we oppose them too strongly. There is a tribe that is doing this to us, and the film "9/11 Missing Links" exposes them. You may be surprised when you find out who "they" are, because they always feign victimhood when they are the victimizers.
@tribunalfunk i dont totally mind this being not on the radio. These beautiful songs are shared with us underground fans of true artistic music. Ive not met or heard of a Nujabes or Fat Jon fan that i can say i've hated. If this music were played on the radio, we would have to share it with the hip-hip lovers of today who wouldnt understand it or appreciate it.
@tribunalfunk its simple. those who run the world don't want it that way. but so too, like good music, these men are invisible. Lol, you must look for them. But if you do, you will find them. Truly the finding of them is nothing more than the aspiration to be curious.
This isn't the kind of music I wanna hear in public places on the radio with background noise and distractions...you lose too much of the experience. Its not good radio music.
It's much better to listen to it in a quiet place without distractions, imo
@warwize I agree, when I listen to this kind of music so much of it is lost when you can't hear every little component of the song(and FJ has a lot of very subtle sounds in his songs). Also, this music is just best when you're relaxed and can just sit back and think
Jesus christ, why are you all acting as if this music is your property... if fat jon wants to take this a major record label then so be it... plus the best way to distribute this to as many people as possible is through a major record label... i dont think fat jon would have any financial issues gettin in the way he wants to create music, as if any of you have any role from keeping this to gettin to the "big bad record company"... i have too much faith in fat jon too worry bout that nonsense
people would probably find most of this boring, they just need their loud shit with repetitive lyrics that are easy to remember so they can sing along to their favorite mainstream jams while punching themselves in the nuts. they dont hear the music >.< they just see it and go along with it.
Im starting to become a big fan of Fat Jon and its crazy ive used this sample before check it out on my page its called "My Friend", Fat has flipped it very well though cos this sample was also used by Lupe Fiasco on a track called sunshine and they all sound very different (not spamming just saying).
I dont really think so, and i wouldnt want that, the people who listen to that "gangsta rap" are ignorant and that genre will fade away without this, I think if u listen to Fat Jon or anyone else outside the box, is just for us people with a elegant and unique taste, they wont like and thats good its just for us intellects.
