Ha, i can't believe it come round to Rebirth running on an ipod. I first started out making tunes on a cracked copy of this a friend gave me that would just run on the 200mhz PC we had. If it wasn't for that i probably wouldn't have got into making electronic music. Oh how times have changed.
@squeakD Well i can help you out there! The original version was made available for free a few years back as a cd-rom image. Just search 'Rebirth Museum' to find it. You'll need to burn the image to cd with something like Nero. The mods are on there too.
@squeakD No worries. Actually thanks to you for reminding me. As a result i just re downloaded it and found a way to run it on my netbook, even without a cd drive. Acid!
@FSK1138 My wife and I are still bouncing that idea around. I've got the 3rd generation iPod Touch right now. What we don't like about the iPad are the capacity limits on them. I expected the memory to be bigger (especially for the price). Aside from the apps I don't really see what it offers over a mini laptop that sells for $300 at Walmart.
@squeakD Exactly, I JUST got a 3rd G touch and don't feel like forking out for basically the same thing with a bigger screen. May get this for my ipod touch though. :D Thanks
@squeakD I have an iPad and I think its worth the money. I have a MacBook and an iPhone but I actually take the iPad with me most places. I don't think you can compare iPad to a netbook from walmart, they are different products for different purposes :P

got it on my ipod 2g, it lags, pretty hard, but smartly it just lags graphics, sound quality is Oh My GoD ! as it's supposed to be =)

@ChrisLody I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a copy of the PC version too. It's an old app.., but very cool. I was in college when it came out.

are you getting a ipad ? - i am waiting for a used unit or until version 2 comes out --
