This brought tears to my eyes... No matter what, I could never be the least bit happy in heaven without my horses or my dogs... Dogs do go to heaven... as do all the other animals. God created them too. Why do you think he made us have such strong bonds with them? <3

I have a blue healer now. I only just now heard of skidboot. I can see some of the same traits in mine that I see in Skidboot. She already will shake, give a high five, and roll over -both directions. After watching skidboot I know she can do more. She seems to want it. It's like whatever pleases me she wants to do. Sometimes I think she tries to figure me out as much I her. These dogs are amazing.

cont - look for her in the shop and in the farmacy and at the medical center, the places she usually went..and when he found her my great auntie would explain to the dog that it cannot come back on the bus, so the dog would sit outside the bus and see to it that my auntie was inside and sitting down, and then it would run 7 km and wait for her at the bustop when the bus arrrived, always getting there before the bus. when my auntie died, the dog disappeared. Maybe she was an angel in disguise.

Skidboot reminds me of a stray dog that appeared out of the blue on my 90% blind great anuties doorstep when i was just a kid..i will never forget that dog, she just somehow knew that my great auntie was blind, and she understood and obeyed every word said to her. the dog would take the bus on its OWN into town going In by the back door, knowing that it wouldn't be allowed in the front door. It would always do that when my auntie had gone into to town on her own to run errands, the dog - cont;-

I first seen this dog on animal planet's peet star and all i can say is this dog blew me away, I was amazed at how smart this dog was. I know you must miss him so much, God bless you for sharing him with the world. RIp Skidboot.
