I love Phil's eyes, he has the most mesmerizing eyes. And the voice to go with it. He sure was the most handsome, passionate, talented singer or all time.
@jrag1000-I'm sorry, I just don't like it! It doesn't make sense, with how it constantly changes and has no story line! I'm aware it's based off of a bunch of movies and whatever, but I still don't like it.
Phil Collins originally wrote this song while working on his first single album "Face Value." He admits he has no idea what the song is about, and the video is supposed to reflect the fact he had no idea what to for a video, so he just took ideas from others. Great song though. Great beat to it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This is what he claims. A Greek songwriter had written the song because of his wife and her name was susy."Susy Don't you lose my number" because after a terrible fight she ran away and cried "I never coming back!" and he believed her and everything that still connects both was the number. This whole song has a romantic meaning of course Phil COllins have no idea what the song is about because how can someone know the meaning of lyrics when he changed it and not even written by himself
Massive 80's Hit........Great Video......'No Jacket Required' Album had 4 singles of which all hit number 1 in the U.S.......Sussudio,One more night,Take me home & this one(billy don't lose my number)...........Awesome.......
Another great Phil Collins song! This guy never missed a beat and his songs were all hits! This is by far one of his best! By the way, I'm on a Phil Collins binge now!
I would of loved it if it just alternated From the Old West and the Dark shots just hat the Feeling. This song and in the air tonight have a very underlining serious sound to them
This is one of the best videos of the 80's as far as i am concerned. It has elements of all the videos being done back then and it pokes fun at them in a respectful way.
How come in the ninja seen phil can instantly turn his hair black, cause its quite noticable that all of a sudden he lost his blonde locks of hair and all of a sudden turned black!
It's called Light and Shadows... He's in the dark.
Remember this video is dated 1985 not 2003... They didn't have computer fade and stuff back then... All he would have done was throw on a black wig or use shoe polish on his hair, which he didn't do.

They came at night leaving fear behind
Shadows were on the ground
Nobody knew where to find him
No evidence was found
"I'm never coming back"
They heard him cry
And I believe him
Well he never meant to do anything wrong
It's gonna get worse if he waits too long...
so baby don't you lose my number
