The same thing about his freestyle soloing. Ofc there is exceptions with the Wherever i may roam solo, The thing that should not be and some other solo's. But also, his style reallt fits into the music genre they are playing! :D

It's a nice solo but as said before, sales do not equate to talent. Hammett is not the greatest guitarist in metal just because he is part of the biggest band in metal. I think Dave set the bar so high that he had to step up his game and he truly went for it. Of course, playing Dave's music when he first started in the band did give him an unfair advantage as far as that goes but I highly doubt Hammett is capable of doing what Dave did with Megadeth.
