    Hence, for an element of `work`, dW=Fdx=m₀γ³adx=m₀γ³(dv/dt)dx=m₀γ³dv(dx/dt)=m₀γ³vdv=m₀c²β(1-β²)^⁻3/2dβ. Therefore, E=W=m₀c² ∫β(1-β²)^⁻3/2dβ. Let u=1-β² so that du=-2βdβ or, -½du=βdβ. We get, E=W= -½m₀c²∫u^⁻3/2du = m₀γc² + constant = mc² + constant♦

As a tribute to Einstein i wish to post the following proof (the simplest that i know of) of his most famous discovery:

    F=d(mv)/dt=d(m₀γv)/dt=m₀d(γv)/dt=m₀[γ(dv/dt)+v(dγ/dt)], where γ= 1/√(1-v²/c²). So dγ/dt=(dγ/dv)(dv/dt)=a(dγ/dv)=a(dγ/dv)=ac⁻¹(dγ/dβ) (where, β=v/c)=ac⁻¹(d/dβ(1-β²)^⁻½)=ac⁻¹[⁻½(-2β)(1-β²)^⁻3/2]=(av/c²)(1-v²/c²)^⁻3/2.

    Therefore F=m₀[γ(dv/dt)+v(dγ/dt)]=m₀γa + m₀aγv²/c²[c²/(c²-v²)]=m₀γa[(c²-v²+v²)/(c²-v²)]=m₀γa[c²/(c²-v²)]=m₀γ³a♦

    ⁷₃Li + ¹₁H → ⁴₂He + ⁴₂He + energy.

High energy protons (¹₁H) making inelastic collisions with lithium (⁷₃Li). Producing helium (⁴₂He), and releasing energy.

  • @dcs002 BTW LeconsdAnalyse, I don't yet understand your response completely, but I'm gonna think about it and work with it until I understand as much of it as I can. For the first time I can actually see mathematically just how mass approaches infinity (very rapidly) as v approaches c, though I don't have a sense of why that is. I'll need time to process this... This is actually kinda exciting!

  • Go back in time and kill him, no nuclear weapons!

  • @SMGJohn what idiot....

  • His goal was not fame but the seek of human knowledge and forever wonder that every person has about the universe.

  • so mass is concentrated energy, when released it becomes the same amount of energy traveling at the speed of light squared?

  • @DKIBMS

"Travelling at the speed of light squared"?

No. That's not it at all. Wiki it for an explanation of the terms and units of measurement in E=MC2.

  • @Blahblobify wiki gives me a huge page, it doesnt have a e=mc2 in a nutshell section T__T

(II) Einstein wrote to Roosevelt that the USA should build the A-bomb before Germany (maybe Einstein wanted to bomb his native Germany? How patriotic :) )

(III) Einstein stole the relativity equations from Hilbert and Poincare. Einstein himself was terrible at math, and would not have come up with a GR theory at all were it not for the help of his friend, Minkowski

Can we agree that A. Einstein's work with mathematics was a pencil pushing job.

Spectacular old propaganda of one seemingly honorable man's math skills, copied from older men and women.

What did this individual ever invent to make our lives better ones ?

    No thing.

What did he say about THE SPIN of the atom ?

    No thing.

Plagiarism is great intellect, in his created (public) situation.

    Seemed like a lovable individual.

    Do good.

  • i like pudding

  • Its an honor to hear his voice :)

  • @mtthwdlsy25

I agree.. and what was shocking to me is that this simple explanation doesn't even begin to touch on the genius it took to imagine the ramifications of this in total.

  • its an honnor to hear his voice

  • Amazing we are able to hear the voice of a genius explaining one of the most beautiful equations every conceived, thanks youtube and evolving internet. • @Cheetree1 E is energy, m is mass, and c is the speed of light in a vacuum.

    ENERGY=MASS x SPEED OF LIGHT^2

So for exampel if you could throw a rock in space at the speed of light it would turn into energy. And energy can never be undone, it can be transformed. for example if you burn a chair it becomes hot and particles are shooting up to the sky, but that warmth and does particles will still have the same exact energy together as original chair had. It just scatterd all over the place :)

  • @MusicHimanshu ohh, ok i get what youre saying, but that arouses another question. mass can be turned into pure energy? so my chair im sitting on right now, i could burn and it would turn into energy, but what kind of energy? like, pure gases or what?

    but thankyou

  • @Cheetree1 well yes mass can be turned into energy, but you cant expect to turn a chair into rocket fuel/energy. Their are different sort of energy in the universe...

If you burn a chair it becomes very hot right? about 1,000 °C (1,800 °F) That is pure energy. Heat.

So the Chairs mass= Particles + Heat

  • @MusicHimanshu ohhh, so if you just add a lot of heat to some particles you can get thermal energy right

  • @Cheetree1

Not precisely. When you add energy to the chair in the form of heat, this helps the wood molecules (cellulose and liginin) reach what is called activation energy, allowing them to react with the O2 in the air in a reaction. The thermal energy produced is from the breaking of chemical bonds within in the wood.

  • @Cheetree1 You see, when we burn something, there will be alchemical reactions between the stuff we burn and air (usually the oxygen part), and when new matter formed like wood being turned into ashes, the electrons will swap their positions in order to form a stable form, and electrons in different position have a different energy level, so when higher leveled electrons move to a lower position it will release energy. That's pretty much where fire comes in.

  • (new being if that black hole just formed into one and never had before) Could this suggest that black holes are what are keeping time going for ours and every other universe out there, in an infinite constantly growing amount. Infinite does suggest constantly growing, doesn't it? And do black holes transition forever, eventually going back into one over and over again, infinitely? Big questions that we do not know.

  • The theory if related to time suggests that everything is in a constant transitional cycle and we are not moving anywhere out of this universal bubble. Beyond the bubble would be a gain unless the bubble is infinite. But infinite means to go on forever. So infinite suggests that the universe is expanding and the back holes also creating these new infinite areas, like our own where the new or old universe and time is able to expand infinitely.

  • Everything else seems to transition so why wouldn't time apply. This would also suggest that infinite things happened before the big bang and there would be infinite things to discover if we could observe and analyze it all. Our technology is only limited, limited by what's on this planet which is limited in comparison to the different elements and amounts of them in different areas of space. If nothing is gained or loss, this space that we are in must not be expanding.

  • Not refering to man made time (simply the timing of rotations and lifespans of different bodies in the universe and perhaps the universe itself and for others.

  • There's a somewhat accepted theory that time was never created and always existed(not refering to only our universe), however for every individual universe and the bodies within seem to all have varying timing and velocities. As Albert Einstein stated within the e=mc² mass and energy are the equivalent can be related to transitioning. The theory for energy, that is relatively accepted is that nothing is gained or lost, only

transitioned. could this apply to time as well - transitioning?

  • I am thinking about why the atom energy can not directly provide the light like electricity? ? While the bomb of course can , but too much. :)

  • @pikulicluka Yes, but his theory is expected to be "wrong" by physicists. Maybe the best word is "incomplete", the fact that there's experimental evidence of this, is actually good new for the advancement of physics. All seems point to the fact that the measurements made at CERN are indeed correct. Which of course doesn't mean that Eisntein failed, just like no one thought Newton had failed when people came up with relativity and quantum mechanics.

  • @AmokBR "Yes, but his theory is expected to be "wrong" by physicists."

    --Expected?

  • @SKULLBOY6 Yes

  • @AmokBR Care to elaborate? Assumptions go against what science is.

  • @SKULLBOY6 Assumptions don't go against what science is. Anyways, physicists are actively trying to look for ways to unify all the four forces, and gravity is the one that gives the most trouble. They know relativity and quantum field theories aren't the ultimate theories so it's not that surprising (still pretty surprising) to find phenomena that don't agree with them; it might actually be helpful in finding other more complete theories.

  • he was one of GE ancients a great man, like Jesus from Nazarete

  • Sorry to disappoint you Einstein but you are failure... „CERN scientists break the speed of light“ .

That means the Speed of Light is not the fastest shit around.... we have 93430-34-3-4 more shits to explore about the speed in the universe.

All learn from Nikola Tesla the greatest one not this crap-man.

  • @BasshuterZ Cern scientists didnt.

  • @chocolatechocochoco yes they did, now all they have to do is to prove how is that done , and it will be complete.

  • @BasshuterZ I'm afraid you're quite wrong on that. They have measured it, but in order for it to have any influence, it first must be repeated by other instances. Furthermore; it's only a question of whether it really went faster than the speed of light, or if there're other phenomenea at work.

Einstein's work has been proven right over and over again thousands of times. No need to yell he's wrong after one incident.

  • @pikulicluka Not to mention that despite this discovery-if it is true- the theory remains extremely powerful. It would just need to be modified to account for special cases such as this. Just as quantum theory did not render classical mechanics a useless field, this wouldn't do the same to the theory of relativity.

  • @pikulicluka He's been proven wrong (1) Neils Bohr with Entanglement "spooky action". (2) Tesla: "space has no curve" & is proven right in The Inflationary Model by Alan Guth & since the 60s with the actual 'density of matter' measured being that of a flat Euclidean geometry instead of a curved one. (3) Radium releases alpha particles/Helium-4 have mass yet Radium loses no mass violates E=mc^2. (4) Gamow's 30 Years That Shook Physics: Electron 1.37 times faster than light. (5) CERN neutrinos.

  • @asherasator Yes, very nice, now show me your sources. As far as I'm concerned, the theory has been in use and considered a paradigm for quite some time now, yet some of those events date back more than 30 years ago.

  • @pikulicluka (1) "Entanglement" is very well known & established, look up "Bohr vs Einstein". (2) Pioneer radio engineer gives views on power. J. Ratzlaff, Tesla Said 1984. Also Alan Guth's book The Inflationary Universe, 1997, or look up "Inflationary cosmology". (3) Any textbook on radioactivity or nuclear pysics can explain Radium, radioactive decay, alpha particles-Helium & energies. (4) George Gamow's book "Thirty years that shook physics" on Goudsmit & Ulhenbeck's work from the 20's.

  • @asherasator You are a Fool.

  • @LeconsdAnalyse & you're a moron.

  • @BasshuterZ You apparently don't keep up to well on current events.

  • @BasshuterZ albert was a genius... we all make mistakes.

  • @BasshuterZ Einstein "crap- man"?? This is effect of the marijuana?

  • @danielewertonvip Actually some of our greatest minds of the past 100 years have actually used marijuana lol. The first that comes to mind is Carl Sagan.

  • @BasshuterZ The CERN incident was quite unexpected, and as such gained immediate media coverage. The results, however, are far from conclusive, and verification of neutrinos actually moving faster than light seems a far ways off. At this time, physicists are certain that there are other factors at play which caused the unexpected results.

  • @lowball420 Nevertheless they advertised it as such, in order to promote their `string` theory.

  • nCr = nPr/r!=n!/(r!(n-r)!)... oh wait that is the combination formula

  • O Ein(K = 19. a m En). C2 = C1 = C9 = 1 =6.

  • O Ein(K = 19. a m En).

  • C2 = C1 = C2 = C9 = 1 = 6.

  • jesus, all this discussions in the comments...

  • Dear Global Friends, We think that we are so advance in science of sophsticated technologies to build machineries and the robotic "human beings". But in fact we are walking backwards into an uncivilsed state where we have lost our "moral" emotions. The robotic "human" forms are controlled by the selfish and greedy human beings because human beings are creating problems and sufferings among themselves. But a day will also come when these robots become "crazy", they will destroy the "controllers"

  • @humbleforest I agree with your points on moral cultivation but some of your points on robots going crazy are a little hokey. I agree for the most part with what you said though...just know this science and religion are not totally incompatible.

After quite a few years as an atheist I have slowly come back to reading the bible mainly as a form of comfort. I have lost many family members to death and pondering over the meaninglessness of existence led me to feel empty... (cont'd)

  • @losttrackboxer Part A.. Dear Global Friend, Thank you for your kind reply. Spiritual science is too difficult for many people to comprehend as such that our knowledge is only limited. Spiritual science exceeds far beyond material science.

Whatever in this world is going to be a cause and effect. Newton discovered the law of motions, what goes up must come down ("crazy robotic", nuclear disasters etc). continue..

  • @losttrackboxer continue..Part B ...In fact, religion is a very simple learning, but it has been manipulated and misinterpreted by immoral people, thus confused and deluded by many innocent followers through cultural, mystics, ceremony rites, languages and customs. Religious teaching is to self-examine one's bad habits and get rid of them. Harmonise the law of dualism, where yin and yang complement each other in moderation and in equilibrium.

This is where one attains peace of mind and wisdom

  • @losttrackboxer continue..Part C.. If you can hear, see and feel GOD, then who is going to believe in you ? On the contrary how do you know that it is GOD or Demon, who speaks and looks the same, same as a human confidence trickster ? You need to understand what is moral cutivation and the law of retribution, then only you are able to comprehend the world beyond and seek your true-self and your " Eternal HOME."

In fact ,we are beating about the bush on this Earth.

  • @losttrackboxer continue Part D...Please don't judge anyone by the label or bookcover. No one can read another's mind nor heart. The law of changes apply to everything in this world even our emotions, internal body cells and so on and so forth. They are all temporary real, not permanent and absolute. Example, a stranger becomes a friend. A friend through disagreement becomes an enemy. An enemy being separated becomes a stranger. It is a cycle .How to harmonise them ? Leaves it to your wisdom.

  • all human achievement started to seem hollow. The term "meaning" itself even began to seem artificial. In my existential crisis I reached for God. My atheist friends often ask me whether i know God exists, my answer is I can not claim to guarantee anything as i have no evidence but in my heart I hope it is true. Foolish or not, I maintain my belief while learning as much as I can without shutting my eyes to anything. Science and religion are on the same team... the salvation of mankind.

  • @humbleforest by the way, not that you implied anything to the contrary, but Einstein was a VERY humble man whom only sought to enlighten himself and help progress mans' understanding as best he could. His attitude was not unlike that of most religious clergy, charitable and good natured.

  • @humbleforest I completely agree, emotions are disappearing from the world and love is turning into desire, people are not appreciating the things they have they are simply wanting more which basically means they will never be happy. Thank you for your comment, hopefully we can enlighten the children of our future to follow in these steps and not become self-centred like a lot of people nowadays.

  • @PrincessJodie09 ...Dear Global Friend, You are the exceptional person on many websites who truly comprehend human civilization and their attitude. It is your pure and peaceful mind and heart, that only you, your ownself that self-realises what is happening in the world today.Life is valueless if we know how and it will be another valueless if we know not. Thank you for the sharing.as One Global Civilised Humankind.

  • continue...Part 2,,,Whether they are old or new Testament or from other religious sources they must stress on moral upgrading of one's mind and character. No one can help nor act on our behalf if we do not like to change our bad habits to good habits in speech and action. They are done in moderation, fairness, honesty, in low profile manner, modesty and chastity. No force is being imposed on anyone to practise. If there is, then it is not a true religion. ..END..

  • Dear Global Friends,... Part 1...Whatever religious books or their teachings are that they all come to a common point of understanding in self realization to liberate one's true-self from this world of "temporary realsml" where temptations and sense gratifications are trapping us.The condition is the same for all to get rid of one's bad habits or immoralities. Unquote " those immoral people and some atheists who are always going against the law of nature"

  • @humbleforest " those immoral people . . . who are always going against the law of nature"

--This is a double-edged sword. First, you can't defy the laws of nature. It would be impossible. Second, morality is a man-made thing. Nature has no morals.

"Breakawy from one's destiny to be with GOD"

--How can you break away from the inevitable?

"GOD does Not teach HIS created children to hate, discriminate nor kill one another for many centuries"

    --Ever read the "Old Testament"?

  • @SKULLBOY6 Part 1.My dear friend, Yes, we can't defy the laws of nature. For your 2nd, question morality is not man-made, only secular laws. Morality is the absolute truth for one's self discipline. It comes from one's pure heart to refrain from committing any sinful deeds. Once one understands one knows how to balance the situation in a fair and moderate manner and does not go to the extremes of doing. Nature has "moral" here means "She" acts according to Her responsibility to be in equilibrium

  • @SKULLBOY6 continue Part 2.In fact destiny means our past or present retribution or karma. What one sows one shall receive accordindly. This is also the law of nature. The past or the present deeds were and are recorded onto the palms of our palms and feet.(please consult a moral palmistry for one's reading).Do not consult a bogus palmistry. It is our past deeds that determine our present and in this present moment it is our deeds to determine our future.Morality cultivation is to breakaway.

  • @SKULLBOY6 continue...Part 3...Don't you agree ? Certain immoral human beings used to manipulate or distort the words of morality for their selfish gains. Not their commons' against or sacrifice, not any effort from out too, it is must from learn from their own mistakes and ready to admit and change to better ones only. :) It is same thing to our own lives too. Nobody can actually teach us, until we really want to change and learn sth good for us. :)

  • This formula actually changed the dimension of cell, therefore, created a total different defination of other high deminsions. Which will cause harm. :) It is same as people's thinking and acting speed, We all living in such different levels of deminsions, caused and created , by ourselves. :) Therefore, no reality is not created by self too. :) While , without calculate all results, some too high speed action may cause harm not benefit beyond their average minds too. This is only my view.:)

  • Sacré Albert !

  • C'est Benoit Fourneyron qui a trouvé ça en premier.

  • HEY ARIEL, GO "UNDER THE SEA", EINSTEIN DIDN'T MAKE BOMBS. BUCKETHEAD SMOKES SLASH.

  • Men like Einstein create nuclear weapons. Men like Slash play guitar.

Don't make big bombs. Don't drink to excess.

  • @Ariel62073 You wouldn't be speaking English, or any language other than German or Japanese if that bomb wasn't made. Realize the importance of sacrifices brah.

  • @naturaltg To further complicate the equation, if the Nazis hadn't chased off the Jewish Einstein, I still might be typing German right now.

Allthesame, I believe in Alcoholics Anonymous and do not believe in alcohol. Slash is a good guitarist. He's half Jewish, half Enlgish, half American, half black, and half white. What a country!

  • @Ariel62073 Einstein didn't create nuclear weapons. Do your homework.

  • @Ariel62073 In what universe did you get the idea that Einstein created nuclear weapons... Otto Hahn, Fritz Strassmann and Lise Meitner were the ones who worked on the creation of those weapons. Einstein proved the theory of the universe and the way we see the universe. He was a pacifist

  • @kasbersky I think that's partially true. But overall, I'd have to say I was correct.

  • @Ariel62073 So, without proving that you are right or the proof of negating my comment you expect everyone to believe you are correct? Study about Einstein, study about nuclear weapons, bring proof. Then make decisions otherwise you just look stupid

  • @kasbersky Well, half of it may be true. In some cases..a little bit more than half.

"If Einstein hadn't left Nazi Germany, then Nazi Germany would have been the first country to develop the atomic bomb."

(How can this statement be read "true"? If one cannot tell, one must look into Shakespeare.)

  • @Ariel62073 If... for crying out loud.. IF... why are you dwelling on the possibilities which did not happen? If it did not happen, it didn't happen. Don't say "IF" and think you can get away with it because the word "if" should be used to determine the future not something that had already happened.

  • is it his own voice??

  • @vijaychandrapandey Sounds like it. Society had voice recorders during Einstein's lifetime.
