My garbage disposal leaking from two places in the bottom from the bottom. There is two notches where the leak is. Nothing else is leaking or dripping.

Myy garbage disposal is leaking from the bottom. Where the reset button is and the entire bottom rim. Almost looks like the seal or gasket is broken. How do I fix that or do I need to replace the disposal unit?

hello Tim,
My disposal is leaking at the very bottom. Can that be fixed ? What causes that?

If it is dripping from the bottom of the unit, it is probably coming from one of the mentioned drain connections or the seal to the sink basin. If you cannot verify a leak from any of those places, the disposal may be rusted through and need replacement. Good Luck!
