OdinMS was the very first public private server , it opened on Christmas day 2007 at like midnight with a thread saying that was their gift to us , about 1k people or less registered to the beta and the regs were closed like 2 or 3 days later. the server was so unstable that if 2 people trained on the same map 1 of them would get DC'd. i was in the beta and when odin was still closed regs i sold my acc for a level 65 sin on scania and registered for localMs after paul stole the files.

5 Years later, history will repeat itself. End of MapleStory.

Wrong Koolk was the very first to decrypt and code private server sources. Then came OdinMs

This was the best private server by far. I'm sorry, but all those 500x/500x/50x, etc servers you are bored within a few days, not to mention the majority of those servers have terrible terrible communities. Odin did it right with having slightly better rates than GlobalMS, but not too high so it is still challenging to level. They also had working events, such as a tiered FOJ system, and a mature community. Odin FTW.
