sorry but some of these scences, like 3:00, I'm used to hearing in some dramatic confession of love in dramas. But Shepard and Liara have little to no emotion when saying them. It just doesnt sound like they mean it... :/
i replayed through the series for the 4th time to go with Liara through the entire series (ME1 and ME2) as of any of the female roles, she obviously has the deepest love and connection to Shepard. From her starting out as a "young" Asari nerd scientist digging in the dirt to becoming *SPOILER* the biggest information broker in the galaxy and a hard ass, the lengths to which she went to recover and bring Shepard back,defying the galaxy, is much better story-wise than any of the other leads.
@klampcamper No, buuuut you can't break up with Liara in ME2 and your decisions about romance will affect your ME3 story. How much impact it will have, we still don't know, but based on the Shadow Broker exchange, I imagine Bioware has got some emotional material for us either way.
@bagbunny humans have eyebrows in order to keep sweat out of the eyes. Asari "head tentacles" seem to have small bumps or scales which is probably what thesse "eyebrows" are and they likely serve the same purpose.
@PlanetoftheRape watch the gameplay preview of ME3, they are recuseing a female Krogan. Thane said he had a wife so their are female Drells. And we all know about the story with Garrus's reach XD so check for female Turians.

Man I really hope ME3 delivers a good story, with romance, dialogue and gameplay. To me ME was better than ME2. Dialogue was very wide and more in depth, I liked both stories, and ME was alot less linear. ME2 felt like I was running down alot of corridors. I mean, even the hammerhead missions are follow that path. Drivin the Mako, boostin over mountains and driving around was awesome. Mako >>>> Hammerhead. Ca't wait to see what happens with Liara ;D

Liara is one of the few likable Asari. I dislike the Asari becuase they don't really seem to contribute much to galactic society other then shaking there asses, and drinking and dancing in clubs for hundreds of years. I don't find them all that atractive, the turians, and drell are much more attractive.

@lordrevan12 u just have to go as much as possible renegade or paragon (i prefer paragoen becaus i dont like being an asshole^^) and do every loyalty mission. try keeping jack for one of the last ones becuase then u probably have a full bar already and u can kkep miranda AND jack in their fight just like legion and tali... and u should always choose garrus or miranda as squad leaders and legion as the tech specialist (but he should be loyal)... got everyone lives on my 2nd playthrough with this

@DragonHeart613 yes, you probably did by accident. The only ways I know of making sure you don't romance Ashley is if your a renegade, or you turn her down if she says anything about romance, and don't agree with her opinions. Also... there is a rare possibility that it could be a glitch.

@detheroc98 I think we all lost someone in the 1st play-through. But why don't you care about Jack? I found her Shockwave very useful (playing as a soldier).
@Rashaed I didn't lose anyone in the first part. If you buy the armour upgrade from Jacob, the gun upgrade from Garrus and the Shield upgrade from Tali and then do all the loyalty missions you shouldn't lose anybody in that first part. Its then just a question of choosing the right specialist for the right jobs. I hope that helps. anyway great video. I haven't played the first game though

@jeffhardy0963 Thats what made me mad in Me2, all the shit we went through and the only people happy your still alive are wrex (if he lived) and liara. Garrus was more or less stoic when he saw you alive but then again they were in the middle of a battle.

I think the main reason why there isn't much "nudity" in ME 2 is cos there was a lot on controversy with teh sex scenes in ME 1, ppl were questioning about weatehr the age certification wasn't fit for what teh game "offered" as it were, and i'm guessing Bioware scared of having a big law suit on them 'adjusted' how thier romance scenes were portrayed
@Rashaed Meh, ME1's sex scenes were kinda silly. I liked the ME2 sex scenes more because they had more emotion and it made them more personal. Besides, I'd rather have Miranda's sex scene than any relationship from ME1.
@Grievous056 I hope not, my personal Shep wouldnt care if she wanted to stay, the moment she got word of the Reaper arrival she'd haul ass to get to the Broker's ship, and she'd haul Liara out of there no matter how much she protested, I'd consider it too dangerous to leave her there with the Reapers on the warpath
@DoomElemental In the DLC Mark Meer's acting is actually really impressive, I think he's getting better at his role, and he's always good at the agressive dialogue.
@ubertubered I know, right? I personally never thought Mark Meer's delivery was particularly *bad*, though at times he could come off as flat (not Keanu Reeves-grade, but still). He gets better in ME2, and he really picks up in the DLC like you said...first in Overlord, then in Lair of the Shadow Broker, and in the newest one, Arrival, we actually get to hear Shepard well and truly *raise his voice* at someone.
I feel sorry for liara @ 5:45 because she's in love with shephard but even though Asari can have sex at 106 it isn't socially acceptable for them to until they are at least 300 years old, and when it will be for Liara Shephard will probably be looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong dead.

What I do recall is that Asari enter their 'matron' stage of life at around 300, which is when *most* Asari start thinking about settling down, finding a mate, having children, but the Codex also takes great pains to point out that not *all* Asari do that, that some 'maidens' (which Liara is now) choose to settle down and have children early, while others may even wait until their Matriarch period (if they ever settle down at all).
I hate Ashly she's a bigot. and liara who can't fall in love with this woman? This woman risks her life to retrieve your body so that Cerberus can repair you and revive you. if that's not a woman more deserving of your love i don't know what is.
I just hope ME3 has twice the amount of dialogue, better sex scenes (rate it 18+), awesome story. I hope Bioware don't end the ME just yet, I would love if they continue on the next gen consoles (ps4, next Xbox).

Damnnnnn! These sex scenes are a helluva lot better than the ones in Mass Effect 2. How come?? Even the conversations between Shepard and his/her love interest seem more real and intimate. Hell, if you try romancing Miranda in ME2, Shepard just sounds like a horn dog wanting to get into some Cerberus meat curtains. Hope they make things like this in ME3.
I hope they bring back these romance scenes in ME3, the ones in ME2 seemed too G rated, in ME1, i felt like shepard and his partner really were in love. It just made the story better, and really, this scene mostly showed passion, not so much sex. Thats better than a little ass grab, a kiss, and a black screen in ME2. Plus i want my relationship with Miranda to go further in ME3, thatd be great.

@blazinghen I know but she abandoned Shepard, regardless of the reasons thats just not cool, If I were Shepard I would have told Liara up front the night before Ilos, if she was going to be with me she had to understand that I wouldnt settle for being second anything, if we were going to do this (relationship) then we had to be each others first priority, nothing came before us, family comes first as they say. I hope in ME 3 the ME1 LI's (Alenko WIlliams, Liara) Will Apologise for their actions.

I think the main reason why there isn't much "nudity" in ME 2 is cos there was a lot on controversy with teh sex scenes in ME 1, ppl were questioning about weatehr the age certification wasn't fit for what teh game "offered" as it were, and i'm guessing Bioware scared of having a big law suit on them 'adjusted' how thier romance scenes were portrayed

@ubertubered I know, right? I personally never thought Mark Meer's delivery was particularly *bad*, though at times he could come off as flat (not Keanu Reeves-grade, but still). He gets better in ME2, and he really picks up in the DLC like you said...first in Overlord, then in Lair of the Shadow Broker, and in the newest one, Arrival, we actually get to hear Shepard well and truly *raise his voice* at someone.

What I do recall is that Asari enter their 'matron' stage of life at around 300, which is when *most* Asari start thinking about settling down, finding a mate, having children, but the Codex also takes great pains to point out that not *all* Asari do that, that some 'maidens' (which Liara is now) choose to settle down and have children early, while others may even wait until their Matriarch period (if they ever settle down at all).

Damnnnnn! These sex scenes are a helluva lot better than the ones in Mass Effect 2. How come?? Even the conversations between Shepard and his/her love interest seem more real and intimate. Hell, if you try romancing Miranda in ME2, Shepard just sounds like a horn dog wanting to get into some Cerberus meat curtains. Hope they make things like this in ME3.

I hope they bring back these romance scenes in ME3, the ones in ME2 seemed too G rated, in ME1, i felt like shepard and his partner really were in love. It just made the story better, and really, this scene mostly showed passion, not so much sex. Thats better than a little ass grab, a kiss, and a black screen in ME2. Plus i want my relationship with Miranda to go further in ME3, thatd be great.
