Just finished watching the Pixies 04 reunion movie tonight...decent for an aftermath hoorah of the OG Pixie vibe & don't get me wrong Kim and sis R cool but the magic just isn't there for me on this performance....this is a cold gun.

They opened for Nirvana back in the 90s in Jacksonville, FL. Someone in the crowd was so tired of waiting for Nirvana to come on they threw a boot on stage, then another. Kim stopped playing and said "If one more shoe gets thrown..." before she could finish a boot hit the bass (if memory serves). And they marched off stage. Courtney Love came out and said if anyone throws a fucking shoe at Kurt shows over and the crowd went nuts. (no more shoes were thrown)
