Looks like the battle of the highest ranked uncommited recuirt is coming down to Ohio State and Florida. Can Meyer pull the top recruit from his former school? it will be interesting to see.
For my peace of mind I hope he goes to UF. Today has been such a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, it's a good-great class, but the POTENTIAL that was there just makes it a sad day. Two weeks ago, we were legitimately looking to have potentially SIX five stars (per Rivals ranking - I think their ratings are most accurate) along with 12-14 four stars. Today, we stand with a Fowler flip and a three star receiver to show out of all that. So Diggs would ease the sting a little.

Why is Virginia still in Stefon's Top-5? Because of their top-notch academics, according to Diggs. Virginia is the second best public school in the country in academics. Want to know who's first? Cal, who out of all of Stefon's final schools has the best combo of academics and football. No matter where Stefon eventually signs, Cal will be there till the end.

Virginia Tech is the best choice... Virginia Tech has never gotten a kid like this caliber and is yet one of the best programs in college football and they've taken these 2 or 3 star recievers and turned them into stars so imagine what they could do to Diggs. @phillipls I am on GatorCountry, Scout, and ESPN. Farrell is not good at all. Also look at the scout interview and he says he "knows where he wants to go" on his last visit. Diggs gave a silent pledge to UF back at FNL and his mother came down to UF (without Stefon) and checked out the school. Florida will get his last visit and he will be a Gator in the end.

@KylePie10 Stefon has not narrowed his choices down any further than his top 8, so saying Michigan is in his top three isn't true. My guess would be the five schools that get officials, plus Maryland because it will get an unofficial will round out Stefon's top schools. If you go by that method, his final schools would be Cal, Maryland, Auburn, Florida, and two of the following: Michigan, Ohio State, and USC.
I would love to see him come to OSU and play a Percy Harvin type of role. I think thats the biggest factor in his decision whether he wants to be a true outside receiver or a gadget type player where he can run and catch.

Why is Virginia still in Stefon's Top-5? Because of their top-notch academics, according to Diggs. Virginia is the second best public school in the country in academics. Want to know who's first? Cal, who out of all of Stefon's final schools has the best combo of academics and football. No matter where Stefon eventually signs, Cal will be there till the end.

@dstanton85 Even so OSU did make a kinda of a late move on Diggs and it also depends if Stefon takes his parents and coach with him like he has with UF which his mom has taken not only one but two trips down to Gainsville I'm sure he'll enjoy the trip like he has with others, but his mother does play a big impact on his decision then just himself...

Hearing good things for Cal in the last few days. I have to believe they are still in it. This is pure speculation by a clueless fan, bear in mind, but I think Diggs' top three are Florida, Auburn, and Cal. Virginia Tech is the best choice... Virginia Tech has never gotten a kid like this caliber and is yet one of the best programs in college football and they've taken these 2 or 3 star recievers and turned them into stars so imagine what they could do to Diggs. He will be a hometown hero for sure if he goes to blacksburg.

Gators are looking to finish strong in Diggs recruiting process with Muschamp making a in home visit to Diggs house to him making a visit to UF once more and i believe his mother will also be making her visit which would be her second visit on campus and had really great things to say also also i don't believe Auburn has a OC yet and the reason why Diggs kinda looked off a bit on us and i believe a little bit for Auburn even if he had those comments, but we'll see....

Being reported by Derek Tyson over at ESPN, "In addition to Florida, Cal and Auburn, Diggs is still interested in USC, Maryland, Notre Dame, Virginia and Ohio State." That would be his final eight, Cal and Auburn having the only official visits so far. Diggs has three official visits left, and chances are that the three schools who don't get officials are out, except for Maryland as it's so close. So who will get the final three officials? USC, Florida, ND, Ohio State, or Virginia?

@xXGatorChompXx If Stefon indeed chooses UF as his last visit destination, then its very possible that he goes to Florida in the end, perhaps more than likely. However, there's a lot of schools competing for that last visit slot, so once Stefon announces his last visit, we'll have a clearer idea of where he's going.

There seems to be a running joke to troll Farrell, because the recruits are giving him bogus crap right now that conflicts with what's actually going on. In Diggs' case, he's not announcing till after signing day, so a lot of his opinions and feelings on schools could change in the next month or so.

Keep an eye on Notre Dame lurking. He said on video to Farrell that he would be "dumb not to consider them" and hinted a visit. He could start immediately at WR and PR from Day One. In addition, ND is a Catholic school like Good Counsel.

Also, it's a video, so unless Stefon is straight-up lying to Farrell, it should be considered valid and the latest info on Digg's recruitment. Florida IS mentioned, but watch again and listen to what Diggs has to say about UF.

@phillipls I am on GatorCountry, Scout, and ESPN. Farrell is not good at all. Also look at the scout interview and he says he "knows where he wants to go" on his last visit. Diggs gave a silent pledge to UF back at FNL and his mother came down to UF (without Stefon) and checked out the school. Florida will get his last visit and he will be a Gator in the end.

@phillipls The only reason they are not mentioned is because we do not have an OC. Brian White (Who is Diggs main recruiter) will most likely be Florida's new OC. I will GUARANTEE Florida is not out if Coach White is named the new OC you can take that 2 the bank! It's always a good sign for the school that has the final visit. Remember, recruiting is a roller coaster ride. Usually, it's the school with the final visit that prevails.

Being a top athlete & knowing that you have the whole nation in the palm of your hands waiting for your decision. My guess would be the five schools that get officials, plus Maryland because it will get an unofficial will round out Stefon's top schools. If you go by that method, his final schools would be Cal, Maryland, Auburn, Florida, and two of the following: Michigan, Ohio State, and USC.

I would love to see him come to OSU and play a Percy Harvin type of role. I think thats the biggest factor in his decision whether he wants to be a true outside receiver or a gadget type player where he can run and catch.
