On top of all of the other issues that can be addressed in this issue (which I am really enjoying, by the way) the timing of these events seems really weird - after the 'incident' between Scott and Macs, Macs has time to sober up, shower, and get dressed before Iolo sees Scott walking across the street, away from Macs door still left open? Then to go in and confront Macs. Was Scott hanging out/hiding out in the house or just walking around? Did I miss something?

I am just putting this out there. What if, when this is all said done. Macs actually was attracked to men after all. After all of this drama that Macs has just gone through, However, he doesn't admit it to himself or anyone. Until he meets someone (another guy), of course that helps him through this. Just a thought.

The actor playing Macs is doing a really good job with this storyline so far, and I never noticed before how attractive he is (probably because he's always acting like a jerk) He's giving Iolo a run for his money in the looks department.

I feel so bad for Macs. I know he acts like a D-bag half the time, but nobody deserves to be raped. Since I'm from America, the only way I get to see any of this soap is through Anthony's channel, but what I've been able to see makes me think that this soap will do a good job of handling this storyline. For instance, I wanted to slap Macs two episodes ago but today, when he was crying in the shower, I just felt nothing but complete sympathy for him.

I think its important for these issues to be highlighted in the media. its great to see soaps such as pbol y cym doing it, other soaps such as emmerdale doing male suicide with aaron was great, as well as male eating disorder that was done a few yrs ago in neighbours, all great storylines. cant wait to see how this plays out though. great acting though.

@LightLife4 One soap General Hospital just did a story on male rape.This teenager was sent to prison and like Pobol y Cwm they didn't show anything graphic.Michael acted angry but it took about six months before he said he was raped.Some people were upset because of his age and others because it took so long to say if he was raped or not.

It could be just me, but I find this storyline MUCH more compelling than yet another coming out drama. I never cared much for Scott as I thought the character was deadly dull. He didn't become interesting until he became a sociopath. Iolo will have a romance at some point, and just about anybody would be better than Scott. So I'll just wait. For now, I'm going to enjoy this wonderful storyline the writers have crafted.

The form the revenge took with Macs was eye-openingly evil,even down to the grin on his face as he left the bedroom-no remorse there.I'm a recent convert to PYC so I didn't get the references to Macs/Izzy that Scott referred to, but I guess that wasn't Macs' finest hour. Rhys Bidder is a good actor anyway,but so far he is making his trauma very believable.Sioned may surprise people.

Unfortunitily most rape victums do not report the crime (especially male victims as it's seen as a weakness or that they 're possible gay & were asking for it) because they are often seen as the one "asking for it" or instigating sexual act ! Male rape is far more common than most people realize (because it's rarely ever reported ,even in prison) . RAPE is a very terriffying ordeal no matter what the sex of the victum is & unfortunely many end up committing sucide !!

Rhys Bidder is doing a wonderful job thus far. He's hitting all the right notes.

I think Iolo will be the one to figure out what's happened and he'll help Macs through this. I'm sure Macs will fight him though, especially as Iolo is gay.

This storyline's the most disturbing one I've seen in soap opera but I'm glad they're doing it and glad they're doing it right so far.

I will miss Scott. There was some real chemistry between Iolo and him. I suppose the standard coming out story has been done to death. If this were an American soap Scott would be back a year from now and claim not to know anything. Then his evil twin would be revealed, or maybe a mind controlling evil villain, or plain temporary insanity. Then he would be redeemed in some way and he and Iolo would live happily ever after. Until the evil twin came back from the dead that is.

I think Scott just used finding out that Macs had raped that girl as an excuse to justify getting his own revenge on Macs (and Sioned). Obviously, Scott is an unstable person and they helped push him over the edge. I don't think Scott's actions were understandable nor justified, but I still think there is a cautionary tale here in this story. When you mess with peoples heads, you're playing with fire. You never know when someone will go off the deep end and seek revenge.

This part of the storyline isn't about gay or straight orientation. It's about rape and one person's decision to take revenge on another person, by drugging them, making them unable to protect themselves from assault.

It's interesting, that the moment Iolo noticed the bruise on Macs' face, he asked him if Scott had hit him. Iolo, knows far to well that Scott lashes out violently, when he's bothered by something. I applaud the writers for taking this storyline in this direction.
