i suppose the waveshine in this video would work if your opponent didn't expect it. but after you did it once or twice your opponent would catch on a DI away. unless he REALLY sucked or wasn't fousing on the match at all. lol
just a few advice from fox melee user and falco brawl user.
Most basic thing, Power shield. Obviously
second if you didn't learn to DAC, do it.
useful for many characters.
Dash - Cstik down - up Z
when you blaster use SHB(short hop blaster) or SHDB, you don't have to L cancle like melee which makes it easier add fast fall if you want. Reason behind it is that it taks away afterlag of blaster if you land while your blaster animation is still going on.
you actually can't DI, my friend and i have done this multiple times, instead you escape automatically after a certain percentage. So its not really 'infinite' either.
i did this too my friend, he came out of it, ( the wall shine ) but i never thought of doing shine dash, my friend is comming over here in 5min. than imma try it
Yeah, you can get out of it with DI...I'm not quite sure why I even put this video up here. Lol. I'm pretty positive you can get out of the shine dash with proper DI too.
Wouldn't it be difficult to DI out of the wave shine because you are following them after each hit? I'm no expert, so what I'm saying might not make sense, but it just seems like if you actually follow the after each hit then they wouldn't be able to get out.
i dont think Corneria is a legal CP. but then again any stage is a CP as long as both players agree to it. at least that's how it is in Nor-cal local tourneys.
The shine dashing is very possible. With enough accuracy it can K.O. an opponent easily. Simply put, shine dash them out of the the ground, then shine in the air while recovering, and edge guard to prevent them from coming back. for those who make the edge, Edge Shine. By that I mean, jump over them quickly and shine. The force of the shine will knock into the corner of the wall, which will cause them to rebound straight down.
i agree w/ u tho....it's like ppl keep calling then salisbury steaks....which they're not...but it's just that ppl are used to the word wavedash...so waveshine is still applicable, for lack of complicating things ;D

Delfino Plaza has walls, its a Counter pick. Pokemon Stadium(Melee) has a wall, it is too a CP.

To waveshine, you must wavedash...and there is no wavedashing in brawl.
