Question,

I've only seen the first 6 of Sharpe, (so that's: rifles, eagle, company, enemy, honour and gold) but I was just wondering. Are the newer episodes the better ones? or is there not really a difference, cause this scene looks al lot different from a scene in for instance sharpe's company.. It's still Sean of course, but do they get better?

Most of the Sharpes, to me anyways, were pretty much the same in filming quality and stunts. However, the acting did get better.

Sharpe's Challenge, on the other hand, is comparable to, say, Tristan and Isolde, the new one. It is still low budget and with few extras compared to the bigger movies, but it has excellent fight scenes and choreography, and the filming techniques are much more complex.

this movie was good but it was not as good as the 3 books its based on.

for instance. sharpe killed dodd but his servent distracted dodd long enough for shapre to do it. and it had cost him his life.
