I have one of these and with CYRI (Can You Run It) the bar goes all the way to the end for skyrim so yes, I assume it can. It has no problem running photoshop, ableton or need for speed world on max settings however it does get quite warm when running a minecraft server.

@Gamer3275 all news games work just fine on this laptop, i have battlefield 3 and in 1366x768 with medium details work just fine, nfs the run on high, and i had gta 4 and i played it also on high. this is really very good device, but remeber to install nev drivers for nvidia and intel graphic cards

This is also one of the budget laptops for high-end gaming.

@Peligrazo theres something wrong with your laptop bro, it might be the drivers, because the laptop has two video cards (The intel onboard processor one and Nvidia one) the games sometimes tend to use the intel one (I dont know why) but if you update your drivers it will prob switch to using the Nvidia card, all the people I know with the specs of this laptop can play GTA IV, COD and shit easy as shit 30 FPS + everything maxed out.

If you upgrade your pc or laptop to a newer OS many functions will be lost including the built in webcam, volume dial control, microphone, etc.

The reason is simple. Asus does not make drivers for new Operating systems. Even if you have the latest OS, in a year or two when you will need to upgrade to a newer OS, you will not be able to.

I had a Vista Asus laptop, i upgraded to Windows 7 and my laptop is unusable now as far as i am concerned.

I have this beast, and i can just say i am verry happy of my purchase. And for everyone looking for a good, reliable and fast laptop, this is a great choice. And the price is amazing compared to what you get :) For any gamers like myself, i can just say this thing runs Skyrim on ultra high, no problem.
