How do you make the holes in the bottle caps? I tried punching holes with a spike but they're too small and the cap deforms. Then I tried drilling and it did a better job but oh boy what a nuisance as they spin like little blades if you're not careful.

@jvangurp ...well, it's tough. Make a hole the width of the bottle cap in a plank of wood...maybe about an inch thick.. Place cap in hole then drill...yes so ya don't tear yer fingers off, me son!!! hahah I use washers and only use bottle caps at the end of each screw...looks good and less work!!! Hope this helps.
