I love this video and to the ignorant who asked if she was bi-racial your stupid. Black people do grow long beautiful hair alot of us just wont allow it to grow.
I so agree with you!! Really everyone only has one grade..it's either straight or curly..ours is that unique kind that can do it all..blessings indeed
I don't like Afros but i want to grow my hair.I don't like Perms but i want to straiten my hair. i feel that srtaiting, weeveing braiding your hair is just like putting on make-up, I don't believe there is anything wrong with that, because you are still altering your appearence. But does this stuff really grow hair? and will it only change it to afros or can you straiten it (not perm it) while you are using this product.
It will give the hair moisture so you will be able to retain length instead of the ends breaking off. It's really good. I loved it and it made my hair grow healthily and happily :-)
if you c a picture everyday you will get use to it , during the 70"s black woman hair was so natural & sexy whites were copying it, When my daughter watches TV all she sees is different races of woman wearing the same bone straight hair style. she drew a picture of a black girl with straight hair. after removing the TV and letting her watch old reruns of the electric company she now draws pictures of black woman and men with Afros. images don't tells lies. the people who alter there images lies
You hair is beautiful. You must have grown up around all white people who were not used to any "ethnic" people and who thought that if your hair was not bone straight then there was something "wrong" with your hair, and made you insecure because of their ignorance.
no such thing as "good hair" btw I like your poem :) another thing there is nothing wrong with having nappy hair too many years people have used the word in a bad way and thought of it as being bad...nappy hair is beautiful...my hair is down my back (locs) and I luv hair in its natural state ...but I am glad u have accepted your hair ...its beautiful ...silky straight hair is quite boring cant do anything with it
I have always had a problem with the term "nappy" because it was never meant as a compliment. As far as I'm concerned it's up there with "Nigger" why do we need to take on someone elses insults and try to turn them on ourselves. I REJECT IT AS I ALWAYS HAVE! It is not who I am. Nappy is a derogative term and our hair has more positive terms to describe it. Notice that the only people calling our hair nappy to our face is other black folks and the likes of Don Imus! NOT NAPPY!
I always wished my hair was like yours. The curl in yours much looser and your hair longer than my has ever been. It got the longest its ever been about two years about (2 inches past my shoulders) and then stress made me nearly bald even though I was completely natural. I would absolutely ADORE to have hair like yours.
That's a great video, I wish it was longer.
