@youngMOB707 I have hung out and party with these guys on several occasions. They are actually quite nice and some of the most genuine people I have met. I work in radio and have met a lot of dicks throughout my career but these guys are not one of them.
It's sad that bands like these disappear instead of these pop artist that has no creativity. Ther pop artist are like puppets, sings songs that they didn't compose. Almost all of them to say.

Would love to see at least a 480p version of all the official Flickerstick videos. Why doesn't VH1 release this series on DVD? I was playing in a semi-working band at the time and really got into this series. It was inspiring. Got to see Flickerstick at Birdy's in Indianapolis in 2001. Great show. Great energy. Rumor has it they signed their deal with Epic that night.
@bobbierobinson78 they separated and called it quits in 2009...Rex which was in the band is my cousin and was at my family reunion yesterday and he says he is now working in a restaurant in downtown Dallas Texas.
I remember seeing them age 16 (in 2000) at Deep Ellum Live when it still existed, in the golden days of Deep Ellum... and it still stands as one of "THE" best live shows to date that I have seen. Seeing all the guys kill a bottle of Jäger throughout the performance, sounding as good live as the cd, and getting dragged to the side of the show for a makeout session with a girl made for a great and memorable night... haha! memories.
Absolutely loved this band! Rarely have I ever heard musicians that wrote, played and performed with total,100% emotion. Everything came from the heart, was real and was amazing. Was lucky enough to catch them live once in Providence RI. The demise of this band makes me hate American Idol more every day!!!
@jcbrowns1 i agree. flickerstick has the sound & the talent to make a bad day seem a whole lot better. i wish they would have went farther than what they did. i got turned onto flickerstick in 2004-2005. my good buddy, ryan gave me a Flickerstick cd and told me to listen to this band. AWESOME TALENT.
Miss this band. They got screwed by winning that damned show. Sony ruined their songs...I actually got to hang backstage with them before they won the show. They were very cool.
I've had this CD for so long and I never listened to it. But yesterday I picked it up and when I heard this song, I just fell in love with the whole band.
so sad they are not together anymore.....I don't know how they didn't make it

I highly doubt that's why they didn't make it. Lots of assholes make it. The singer of Buckcherry is an asshole for example.
