But also non-Disney animated features like the swan princess movies and the king and I.
The character designer and animator for this is Stephen Gordon, who also you may know from doing animation for the swan princess and Bakshi's the lord of the rings
And the music was done by Lex de Azevedo who also scored for, you guessed it, the swan princess!

this is a great video about Abraham and Isaac, but it's really unfair to Ishmeal. i would think as the first muslim, he'd be just as devout to God as the first jew in Isaac.
@Ramanujan88 Yes, I have always thought that this was unfair and have asked God why. But God did not make Sarah choose to use Hagar like that. I think Sarah should have gotten a big spanking on her rear end!!! Or some kind of punishment. I wish the Bible would have told us what happened to Hagar. I know that Ishmael was made very great and wealthy. But man, to send your own son away like that! So harsh! No wonder they still hate the Jews! Just being honest when I say that I would hate too.
@godschildyes what I mean is I don't think this dipiction of Ishmeal is accurate. beautiful video, but makes you think Ishmeal a jerk. I think misunderstandings between everyone is what causes the trouble. Abraham tries to sacrifice both his sons, but at least he learns the 2nd time that God will take care of it and he doesn't have to do the stuff he had to do with the gods of his past. Oh, to learn more about Hagar and Ishmeal, there are stories of them in the Quaran.

And you should really see the other shorts they did in this series together.
Sure, they're biblical but you don't have to be a Christian to like these. (I'm an atheist by the way)
They are told like they are supposed to: fairy tales. The stories flows well, and are well animated, well acted, and well orchestrated.
They're a must see for every fan of animation.
(Just don't take the stories to seriously, they stick really close to their source material and the morals can be confusing at times.)
