How'd you fix the jeans when the slits turned into a hole? That happened to a pain of mine as well.

@JoyaAurielle to prevent the holes i try to make the width between the slits smaller. Also i wash on a low setting and let them air dry. If a hole is created i either rock them as is or sew a piece of fabric in place of the hole (turn the jeans inside out and sew that way). I usually use a funky piece of faded fabric like an american flag or a vintage rock tshirt...good luck!!

@kelseyyyyxo1 awe thats unfortunate...did they not become distressed? was it too distressed? If they didnt fray make sure your jeans were non-stretch denim, and make sure your washer speed isnt too low, same with the dryer. If they were too distressed and created holes, make sure your slits aren't too close together and try washing on low and air drying them. This process is really about trial & error, it took several unsuccessful times before I perfected my method. Dont give up, keep trying!
