Pleasing tune & great singer....but it perpetuates the gross stupidity that pop singers can make the world better with lyrics that say, "I disapprove of killing and torture and hunger". Hello, all decent people want to live in peace and security....and, unfortunately, the Hitlers, Stalins, Mao Tse Tungs and Pol Pots & Castros don't persuade so easily.
@CaptainEli2000 My very first concert too! She came to the Houston Astrodome in 1984 or so for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Still have fond memories of that.
one of my favorite country songs...it is perfect for all generations. I am sure that all politicians & media outlets hate this. To be fair & balanced, they like it on election years. HMMM -;)
great song that fits these times........was a #1 hit...grammy and country music award won......thanks for posting.........too bad she retired last year..............saw her 19 times in concert...........amaziing lady
By far, her best song in the eighties, perhaps of her whole career. It should have been at least a top ten hit. Tremendous song and singing and gives me shivers.
Wonderful, inspiring song!! Sure does relay what is going on today and needs to be played on the radio often today. We do need a little good news and one day we will!!! God speed that day!!!

Great Song ... should be re-released. I miss the official video. I had liked it. I wonder if Anne or the managers of this channel can post it here.

Anne's music is so special. Wonder if she ever visits these sites...I'd love to hire her to sing in Africa. She'd be a hit.
