This guy is like a broken record repeating the same old garbage that they always spout off about. They all sound just alike! It seems like they are from the same mould regardless of their political affiliation. The GOP is very quick to criticize and complain about new ideas. They can outline for us exactly why the proposals won't work! However, they can't come up with a new idea to save themselves. They "can't see the forest for the trees" so to speak! More status quo.
You are one ignorant moron dgs2091..you use your idiot Buzz words because you are too damn stupid to listen to what the Conservatives have laid out for plans..your criminal lop eared coon and his criminal conspiracy used every bit of deception possible to appeal to stupid people like you to get a vote..stupid ass..when some piece of shit like obama buys votes..what the hell do you think is going to happen with this Maxist bullshit?
@rickinnev You certainly appear to be one educated scholar. It's apparent to all how smart you are from the way you straightened me out regarding my opinion. This is the perfect example of Republican "tolerance". You guys have so much respect for the opposing points of view that I can't believe anyone would criticize the GOP. Nothing but the same old republican crap that all of us are sick of..!! We already have a government run health plan. It's called MEDICARE.!! Ask all the seniors if they would like to give that up and start buying there on plans. We also have another government run plan called social security. I'll bet our seniors would like to keep that as well. Don't let these assinine republicans scare you into not supporting the change that we need. The GOP has absolutely nothing to offer the middle class.
2/6/10: More than 100 Members of Congress joined in John Fleming's support of H. Res. 615. Fleming is the Congressman representing Louisiana's
4th district whose common sense measure is calling on Members of Congress who vote for an intrusive government-administered health care plan to enroll in that system. Since launching this effort, nearly 3 million Americans have contacted his office in support of H. Res. 615...
In response he offered an amendment to the Democratic Leadership health care bill to automatically enroll all Members of Congress and all Senators in the public option. Predictably, his amendment was rejected out of hand by the Majority and was not given a vote on the floor of the House of Representatives. Common sense seems to have failed us in the health care debate...
That's why he offered a resolution asking Members of Congress to put their "money where their mouth is" and call for Members who support a public option to lead by example and be required to enroll in the public option themselves. If a Member is willing to vote for such an option, why shouldnt they enroll in it? ...
"There is no doubt about it; health care in America must be reformed. The answer, however, is not an intrusive government administered health care plan. As a practicing physician for over 30 years, I am concerned that the kind of "reform" being debated back and forth on Capitol Hill will insert Washington bureaucrats between patients and their doctors, burden the middle class with new taxes, and raise insurance premiums for almost everyone...
we already have Insurance Bureaucrats between Patients and Doctors, making decisions that have nothing to do with a Patients health and everything to do with profit
12/24/09: The word is getting out about these OUTRIGHT BRIBES for votes. Even the Democrats themselves are starting to complain about this obvious "Cash for Cloture" bribing going on....
Before a close vote last month, Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) got a large break -- an estimated $300 million in extra spending, in a move now derisively called the "Louisiana Purchase..."
When Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) couldn't get past the reporters swarming Ben Nelson on her way to the cloture vote, she quipped, "I know I'm not as important as Senator Nelson. I didn't get the money for my state. I was too stupid..."
Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) was "persuaded" to drop his concerns after Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) offered his state a $10,000,000,000 (BILLION) grant for "community health centers" -- money that could also easily be funneled to facilities that perform abortions...
Sen. Carl Levin (D-Michigan) made sure that certain insurance companies in his state are off the hook from a new $7 billion dollar tax. With the bill hanging in the balance, Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Nebraska) got a provision exempting his state from paying the usual share of costs for new Medicaid patients. The deal, dubbed the "Cornhusker Kickback," is expected to cost $100 million over 10 years...
Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA), chairman of the Senate health committee, got a provision inserted to increase Medicare payments to certain "low-volume hospitals" in Grinnell, Keokuk and Spirit Lake, treating limited numbers of Medicare patients...
Call your Senator NOW. Tell them you oppose both the Reid and Pelosi Obamacare plans. You can call the U.S. Senate switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to be connected and tell the Senate you OPPOSE the Obamacare Plan and that they must vote AGAINST it...
Hats off to Fleming..one honest man, not like Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana who took huge bribes from Obama..If anyone on this board is either so damn stupid or blind as not to see how criminal this shit is and the constant obama push of do it NOW! do it NOW! this mulatto crime boy has only one thing in mind, MORE GOVERNMENT CONTROL of you..get involved and stop this criminal mulatto bastard.

We need to be getting rid of the damned IRS and income tax and not embedding it further with 'tax incentives.'
And the republicrats want to take bake Congress? They had it for years and repealed none of the socialist garbage the commies have shoved down our throats.
It will take many expensive suits hanging along Pennsylvania Ave. to fix this mess if it can be fixed.

Obviously you all have health care, and everything is fine and dandy with you and yours..From someone who has worked for the past 30 years and just got laid off... I have no options but Cobra for myself and my daughter! Which I can't afford, and my daughter has a preexisting condition, so calling for a private plan is worthless!
I don't know if this is the alternative system we need, but it makes more sense than what Obama is proposing. It will save money, not spend more than we have; and gives incentives for people using alternative methods to stay healthy (w ww. EarthClinic. com).
Obama's so-called healthcare plan is the same as Hitler's: First they make abortion seem right, then they eliminate the mentally ill, then the elderly, then those who don't agree with them. B.O.'s plan is not one you can live with!
I know the facts single payer does not work in Canada and the UK you need to wake up single payer only raises taxes and rations healthcare please stop listening to your left wing dribble.
Yeah don't listen to both sides to figure out what the truth is. Stick your head in the sand and listen to Keith Olberman. These Congressmen MIGHT know a bit about healthcare, ya think?
