Hey, you remind me of a man. What man? The man with the power. What power? The power of hoodoo. Hoodoo? You do. Do what? Remind me of a man. What man? The man with the power.
@NtheAMtry2rise I know what you mean! I've been trying it for a while and I always fail! They always repeat the whole sentence, "You remind me of a man?" Haha. So frustrating!
david bowie! you remind me of the babe! what babe? the babe with the power! what power? the power of voodoo! who do? you do! do what? remind me of the babe! lol
I absolutely LOVE this movie and this scene is one of my ALL TIME favorites... I totally crack up when I meet someone and say "You remind me of a Man." if they can keep it up with me I am floored =]
is there any name of the thing that they say? the you remind me of a man, what man? the man with the power. so on and so forth, if there is, please reply or send me a message
Arriving at the picnic grounds Cary grabs Shirley's hand and ignoring the threat from her Uncle, Judge Thadius: "I hope you come up before me sometime" Grant says "Let's go join the ants!"
Myrna Loy introduces her Uncle:"He's an Associate Justice of the State Supreme Court", Grant replies: "Better than working for a living".
Priceless, just like the film it came from and the actor who said it.
This movie is part of our family in that multiple generations have been treated to the key lines from it. And the cast was superb, or course, led by Cary Grant. People forget that even at this date, after WW II, Rudy Vally was still a huge star and he's great in it, too. Myrna Loy -- fabulous and I think this was Shirley Temple's last movie....what a shame, but then think of what she went on to achieve. Thanks for the memories.
I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my latest one on some 1930's movie star tobacco cards, including Myrna Loy, Joan Crawford, Bing Crosby, Johnny Davis, Mickey Rooney, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Joan Crawford...
"Mellow Greetings, eukie-dukie" "You remind me of a man..." "What man?" "The man with the power" "What power" "The power of who-do" "Who-do?" "You do." "Do what?" "Remind me of a man..." LOL, I do that little skit with my little bro ALL the time! Thanks for uploading :)

this may sound creepy but, can't you tell from clips of Shirley Temple as a kid that she would be beautiful as a young woman? this proves it.
