hey you've got to help me.i've calibrated my Esky usb controller and done the control mapping.but when i start the simulation,the rotors won't spin when i bring up the throttle.whats happening?
Is there a place to get this for minimum cost, my parents weren't too happy buying me a" 200 dollar flying toy" and when i suggested a simulator, they were not happy about a "200 dollar compiuter game" is there somewhere i can get this for cheap
I have an HP dragon 20 inch laptop and this program BLAZES on it (8800gts gpu), very smooth, and of course HDMI out to my 58 inch plasma, and havent noticed any lag at all. Its as close as I can get to being there
i believe its a matter of choice, the issue with G4 to some is the fact you use their transmitter, however i believe ANY simulator, even FMS will help in SOME form. of course the big boys are going to be more accurate and have better options and realistic effects. But I picked up G4 on ebay for $135 free ship which is GREAT DEAL., Look for prices around 130 to 140, think about it, if you have a trex 450, one crash can mean that amount.
i have had G4 since its release and there have been a lot of problems with upgrading to 4.5 as regards stuttering performance and glitches. so i just run version 4 with a couple of expansions packs. my pc is new also AMD 3.1gig dual core CPU, GTX 275 GPU 6 gig ram velociraptor hd. so i know thats not causing the G4.5 problems
I was disappointed. I know many people are happy with it, but I'm not. I've owned G2, G3 and have tried G4.5, I found the heli physics of Reflex XTR to be vastly superior. For airplanes, AFP felt a lot more realistic than G4.5.
can I play it with game pad? thx

I completely disagree. G4.5 is far superior to any other sim in the market now. The physics are awesome.
