funny if you hear about people's opinions about SY best albums what they think, i saw one saying goo suck's, i love goo, i don't understand washing machine really, but hey, we are oh so lucky we know this band and love it en they made so many cd's/ vinyls that we can love, en don't forget about the SYR albums, they are the best, well, sometimes.. it's just u can put on all sorts of albums on of SY if you feel like this,that, or something else.. that's kinda nice

(I love all of 'em, but not super familiar with post-Thousand Leaves stuff)

This probably changes every few years for me, but:

1) Sister - always perfect.

2) A Thousand Leaves

3) Dirty and Daydream Nation (tie)

I know it's blasphemy, but I like 'Dirty' a lot. It's in the 'not one even remotely weak track' upper eschelon despite being their 'poppy' album.

Saw them on this tour at Chapel Hill at the Cat's Cradle...a bit cool when you think about it. They're sitting there for the first time playing the song in the city and venue they're singing about. Thurston was wasted that night though, so the show overall was not as good as it could have been. The did play "Genetic" that night though, which was cool!

Dirty is pretty awsome....its in my top 4 of theirs....Daydream Nation (of course) Dirty, Rather Ripped and Their First (self title). the more i listen to Dirty te more i like it though!

their last 3 albums (Murray Street, Sonic Nurse, Rather Ripped) have been fairly good i think though. If I had a top 4, I'd put Daydream Nation, Sonic Nurse, Dirty, and Murray Street. That's just me though. Comment back.
