sweet truck man, im wantin the same exhaust for my stepsside, i got the piping already cause it had a flowmaster 3 inch when i bought it but it aint quite loud enough, 80 series, how much did it cost?
@93fs sweet, great sound, ima just replace my muffler though so thats cheap, itl save me some money cause my land lord doesnt want me workin on stuff so i have to take it to a muffler shop
In all honesty, how do u like ur 305? I got a Vortec 305 in my 97 sierra, and i love it. All ppl do is bad mouth it sayin 305s are dogs n whatnot, but my truck is snappy as a bastard, and actually quicker than the vortec 350s (Ive drivin one before). Hows ur throttle response n all?
@350AmericanMuscle my throttle response is way better then any 350tbi ive ever driven, the only thing they get me on is off the line torqe, but past 3krpm il fly past em
@93fs Exactly how mine is also, once it hits around 3k the powerband kicks in and i get the speed. My 1st n 2nd gears are geared so low that people get me off the line also, its not that its slow tho. But ive never driven a 305 tbi. My buddy has a 350 tbi and it aint much for speed all for pullin
@350AmericanMuscle i find a vortec 305 works a lot better then a throttle body 350 but my aunt has a 350 vortec in a regular cab regular box truck that works better then a 305 does stock vs stock. Depends on the truck its in too but your right,v ortec 305's work pretty good
@Leafsrule016 Guess it depends on the weight to engine ratio. A young stock Vortec 305 hauls a 2wd shortbox reg cab truck around like crazy. But in a 4 wheel drive exended cab truck that may be a different story. ive driven a few Vortec 350s and honestly i wasnt too impressed (but its possible then were beaten and worn out). But the Vortec 5.3s they HAUL!
Respond to this video... yeah i drove a 305 in a shorty and it works good but my buddy has a 305 vortec in a 4x4 extended cab and it seems pretty dead.. depends on mileage, any mods ect i suppose but generally a 305 vortec in a small truck isnt much less power and a good running one can outrun some 350s
@YoungerPrice yea but where i live theres kind of a secondary law that says 94 and previous do not require a cat, that and they diddnt even look under it when i took it in lol
@MrBigblockman572 it was accually already on the truck when i bought it, so im not sure, all i know is its got coils up front, shackles and hangers in the rear, and its all belltech
@alexkmadden i got lucky and found the wheels at a swap meet, if i were you id just check ebay and craigslist, ive found a couple sets floatin around. and its 4" all around
if your goin with a glasspack i highly recomend the summit racing one, its built extremly well, i had a cherrybomb on before this, the summit flows and sounds way better, for just a little bit more
yea just go to summit racings website and search summit glasspack/race muffler theres a long one and a short one, i did the short one

@onlypresto the mufflers like 25 bucks i think and the tip was around 30, i think the whole setup only cost me 60 dollars lol
