Actually, the population of the USSR prior to wwII was aproximately 168 500 000. To put this into perspective, the population of russia before the russian revolution was aproximately 175 100 000. This means that you were wrong by over 100%. It is ussually very hard to get a figure that wrong unless you try.

oh, and the figures are disputed, and estimates vary from 20-60 mill (prob 20)
