That's so cool. When technology like this is refined, I'm sure the paralyzed people will be elated to be able to play games and get up and walk around. I'm usually not impressed with the way prosthetic limbs operate, but technology in this area makes me more hopeful to see the paralyzed people will see themselves moving again.
That's great. Too often SL gets a bum rap as being a "waste of time". Here's proof that it can have a real-world, positive impact on people.
I know the system is in it infancy stage, but I hope they'll enable him to activate Mouselook mode. I think this gives a much better perspective on your surroundings. I personally, don't care for 3rd--person view as the angle is pointing too far down for my taste.
I thought it was cool being able to watch his brain activity on the other monitor.
This is impressive, but wonder how it would improve the lives of parallyzed people. Real World Vs. Virtual World .... On one side I think it keeps them connected to the world and helps keep their mind quite active in all that interactivity.
This is amazing. After months of using keyboard in SL just walking straight is a problem :), now you have put an electrode in the head and controlling the movement via it is just amazing!
YAY!

This guy has an unfiar advantage to other players because he can react much faster. HOW IS THIS FAIR?
