That's what I try to tell people. They are all fake.

Tegan and Sara got famous the old fashion way: through having talent. And that's something that's very hard to find these days because all these famous people like miley cyrus and jonas brothers don't have that.

They ( as in tegan and sara ) have fans because of how great their music is and not because they are in this media mess.

While I completely agree with almost everything you said, it is my pet peeve when people say that you need to 'grow up' to listen to real music. My dad exposed me to introspective and incredibly amzing music when I was seven, and now I'm 15 and I find that I have better music taste (in my opinion, obviously) than a lot of 50-year-olds I know.
