Awww...and I was hoping for Garry Moore LOL! :) Great video as always! Just started watching them a few months ago and I agree with everything you've been saying so far. Keep up the great work whenever you have the time!
8 months ago i sold 'alienware laptop', for $1896 total, i sent the laptop off the Next day special deliverly, and the Buyer claims he recieved a 8 year old pentium-3 laptop in a 'alienware' Box that's where the Fun starts so Basicly he opens the dispute straight away without contacting me First obviously a (SCAM) the bastard gets a full refund 5 days later Ebay favoured the Buyer and now i'm taken this to small Claims Court he lives 387 miles away wish i could knock his teeth out but im good
don't know how they could not catch this guy and peopel like this. and now because of your videos i never want to deal with peopel with no feedback. i dealth with 1 person so far and it went fine, now i just had smoeone buy an expensive item so we will see. As for scammers I would like feedback on the price these scammers look for. wha tkind of items and what they are selling for. is paypal dumb? how can we report these epopele to ebay?
Someone did the "send back" thing to me recently. The item was returned and I refunded her. She then filed not one, but THREE fraud claims against me. PayPal then proceeded to remove money from my account three times and just GIVE it to her (mind you, this was money I'd ALREADY refunded her once) despite my having all documentation. It took 2 months and (no joke) 9 phone calls for PayPal to finally give my money back. I contacted everyone else she scammed and advised them to report her.
@tracyblogger For some reason the fraud claims thing is so popular to do know. All my years as a seller on ebay it has never been this bad. I took crazeenydriver's word and I opened up a propay account today. No more paypal for me. They should investigate paypal and see how many of these so called fair claims are awarded to the seller. I bet it would be less than 5%.
@ThePokerfacemama - The really crazy thing? I warned PayPal that she was also scamming others and that they might want to investigate further. They told me they don't DO that (?). Weeks later when all was finally resolved, I said [to the PayPal rep], "Do you realize you reimbursed me for the funds you allowed her to take from my account, but also paid HER for a fake claim? That in the end, she scammed YOU?" Days later, the scammer no longer had an account. Shocker, huh. Looking into ProPay!
The paypal reps always sound so young and inexperienced when I call over there. I have stuff listed propay right now. I got a lot of potential bidders ask me what propay is before they bid and I have been telling them it's like paypal but I think it's safer since it is owned by Wells Fargo. Trying my best to get the word out on propay.
@ThePokerfacemama - "Currently, the ProPay eAuction account is exclusively for US-based eBay PowerSellers." GAAAAH! I sell a lot, but not nearly enough to be a Power Seller (I'll list and sell and then won't list anything for a few weeks - typically after a bad selling experience).. :( Since most of what I sell is vintage clothing, I may just scrap ebay altogether and go the Etsy/Google Checkout route. TY for the info. It's nice to have another option in the (near) future just in case!
@tracyblogger OMG I do the same thing, I stay off of ebay for a few weeks after a bad selling experience. I guess I need time to recover! LOL. I didn't know propay was only for powersellers. I am one, for now until I get negs from these crazy buyers coming out nowhere all of a sudden. I guess the word is getting out that ebay is a free for all for buyers. The more ebay promotes this buyer protection thing the more crazy buyers get.
@ThePokerfacemama With Propay there's an annual fee which takes some of the luster off it; and Ebay still offers Buyer Protection....so can't the scammers still scam you? At least it's taking Paypal out of the loop but is it harder for them to scam with Propay??
@rosskstar Propay only charged me a $5 annual fee. They make up for it because they charge less per item than paypal does. Paypal take ridiculous amounts of $ out of the final value fees. Propay will fight for you (the seller, the account owner) over the buyer if there is a claim. Paypal will immeidately side with a buyer no matter what the evidance you provide. They are afraid of chargebacks. Then you the seller are stuck with paying back the buyer plus paying paypal for the final value fee.
@ThePokerfacemama "charged" as in past tense? you still use them? looking on their site i see $79 annual fee. Isn't Paypal's % around 2? Propay is what? My selling is slowing down after liquidating to move but if i ever find something to sell on a regular basis, i've got to find something other than Paypal ~ so ridiculous to even have a claims "process" when they always side with the buyer anyway; complete sham.
I just had a really good buying experience on the website Bonanza. I think I am going to start selling my stuff there instead of ebay. Does anyone know if they accept propay?
I disagree with a lot of what you believe in. I'm a PowerSeller / Top-Rated Seller, and I would never call out any of my customers in listings even if they are non paying bidders. It only looks bad on your part to future customers. Would you rather them not pay, or would you rather them pay and return the item after they receive it?
I know it can be annoying. I've been there, but you always should respect all of your customers and treat them with kindness, even if they don't pay.
Ok I looked at Ricks feedback I looked at the first sellerkahuna57 I noticed that seller is selling walmart 500 gift cards for 515 where does he/she get these 500 gift cards why selling SO MANY MUCH 500 walmart cards this to me is sort of strange!
I notied kuhuna buying gift cards on the cheap yet when selling asks more than 500 515 lots of 500 walmart gift cards after ebay fees any profit is eaten up I do not get it. Other than to help become a powerseller I see no reason for it
@FEVER55555 i was wondering about that too, but the fact is that this buyer keeps claiming that all the charges against his cc are fraudulent. that is the point i am trying to make
Anymore, i'll refund their money at the first sniff of stupidity and block them; it's usually a guise for underhandedness....but you always pay the price for it.
If you put someone on your BLOCKED BIDDER'S LIST and later on they change their user id, will their new user id be automatically updated on your list?
Great!!! , I Really Hope paypal and ebay take some actions here and Kick that guy out of there, or I'm sure he will continue to do it .

I get this at lest once a month and all my items are in the $300 - $500 range! Unfortanatly this has simply become the cost of doing buissness! Also what these scamers do is send me back a box Signature confermation so that they can report to ScumPal that they did in fact return the phone..... LOL
I will say one thing about these scum..... they run most of my compeditors off eBay! So in the end it works out for me.
@john1240able yes john i will do a mally vid soon, but most of my subs are here for my ebay vids. only a few of us drive mallys, but i do have some updates to tell
It is all about putting and holding money in paypal as long as possible. All mis-logic, crime and extortion ebay does is through paypal.

Nothing like good old eBay allowing buyers to scam their sellers! It's only a matter of time before the whole place implodes on top itself.
If anyone here spends any time on eBay's Forums you might find my latest blog post very interesting. just add a dotcom to my youtube id.
