UTEP is just a better team. If you look back at the buffalo game we should have won but a bad call cost us the game. Texas and Kansas loss were to better teams.
The reason they rushed the field is because they couldn't go it in Stillwater. The fans never had their moment, and haven't had this type of a team in probably 2 decades if ever. Plus, it was an exciting and suspenseful game, cut them some slack. I also believe Leach did the right thing by going for it, because you couldn't count on intercepting Houston's first drive after that. If anything, I disagree with his playcall in that situation, rather than his decision to go for it.

yes UH played well, but i don't know why everyone is seeing those wins with such disbelief...UH has beaten okie state 2 out of the last 3 or 4 times they've played (so okie state knows UH can beat them).
...UH's offense has finished very high since like 2003, and have had some good wins and very close games with some of the nation's "top teams"
...i just wish the media and football fans alike would broaden their football horizon...the "big boys" aren't the only ones who can play.

I see this as such belief, not because of the cougars, but because of what we were capable of. We were capable of scoring 40 on you but our offense couldn't do anything against you D, which was very surprising, and your offense got the ball last (Just like TT against UT last year), and won it on the last drive. You played well, but don't fall down. You keep winning and it will still help Tech. haha. So. Go Red Raiders and Go Coogs!!!

The reason they rushed the field is because they couldn't go it in Stillwater. The fans never had their moment, and haven't had this type of a team in probably 2 decades if ever. Plus, it was an exciting and suspenseful game, cut them some slack. I also believe Leach did the right thing by going for it, because you couldn't count on intercepting Houston's first drive after that. If anything, I disagree with his playcall in that situation, rather than his decision to go for it.
